Forget about our concern for Ron's well-being. What's become of Matt?!?

We're just minutes away from the most heralded return to the radio airwaves in years. To the delight of his legion of loyal listeners who never tire of his witty, generous banter, his engaging, timeless yarns and his always keen insights on today's sporting scene, Ron Cameron is back. And we got him.

Yeah, I have to believe that the station keeping him on its podcast page & rerunning his most recent shows has to mean he’s coming back. Hopefully soon, as I understand Mr. Positive is now identifying as merely Mr. Sanguine.

If a return’s in the offing, Ron needs to appreciate that, without a social media presence, it’s going to take some time to reassemble his self-described “big” audience.

In this last broadcast, he just announced that, due to his bum knees, that he might have to take a few weeks off. So maybe he'll be returning soon.

The comedy like Ron misreading his ad copy earlier in the hour for the restaurant serving "day-old" salmon?!

As does the fact his podcasts are still on the station’s website.

A repeat show is airing now. Which suggests that Ron hasn't left the station.

I'm imagining Ron's using this time holed up working on his sure-fire, best-selling autobiography. I understand the working title is "Don't Call Me Mr. Cameron!"
