Re: WUDT 23
At this point it’s a Sinclair station versus a religious one on RF23. Let them cancel each other out. No big loss.

Re: WMYD (RF31) will be switching over to ATSC 3.0 on December 7th.
Bad News, there is only 1 turner available that is reasonably priced, but it is for connecting to your computer network, not directly to the TV. So I won't have a ATSC 3.0 turner when the switch happens. Good News, when I do get a ATSC 3.0 DVR box for my TV I will have stations to pick up. No biggi...

Re: WUDT 23
I think they'll move once WNWO in Toledo fires up its more powerful transmitter and causes massive interference to it... 275 kW at just 75 km (45 miles)... yeah. that won't be pretty. I asked WNWO and they brought that new transmitter online on Sept 26. The two signals are fighting each other so mu...

Good weather for work outside before winter.
Their FCC CP license runs to 11/05/2021, but they should move it sooner to play nicely in the broadcasting sandbox.

Scripps is doing well. The purchase of ION Media and Warren Buffett helping them on the financing says they are in good shape.

Re: WUDT 23
WNWO switched over to their new 275kW transmitter in late September.
I am suspecting co-channel interference between WUDT and WNWO.

I’m not gonna spend a ton of money for one.
The main channels will have ATSC 1.0 duplicates and the stations probably don’t have a ton of 4K production equipment yet. I’ll wait till there are $50 tuners.

How’s that sports network dispute going with Dish, Sinclair?

Sinclair is garbage.
The only thing useful about a Sinclair station is its affiliate programming.

They are expensive and hard to find. Most affordable one I know of will be the Zapperbox M1 due out around February next year.
From what I have heard of other DMA’s who have brought ATSC 3.0 online, get ready for a lot of signal interruptions and software updates.

WMYD (RF31) will be switching over to ATSC 3.0 on December 7th.
It will carry the Next Gen version of its own and other local stations main .1 channels.
Its ATSC 1.0 channels will be moving to other stations and some of the channels from those stations will be moving as well.
So, if you lose channels around 12/7, remember to rescan for them.
