Re: Oakland A's ditching radio,, move to streaming only

That's probably true. Wonder if the A's tried to get a deal with iHeart, for either KKSF-AM "Real Talk 910" a progressive/liberal talker or KNEW-AM 960 Bloomberg radio. I think both of those stations list Oakland as their city of license.

Re: Oakland A's ditching radio,, move to streaming only

The Oakland A's were on Salem's "860-AM The Answer" KTRB San Francisco, a conservative/Christian talker last season. After reading this article, it sounds like the station manager was surprised and disappointed that the A's chose not to renew with KTRB for a second season. The A's may have been the ...

Re: cumulus unloads 770 wabc

Did 77 WABC Radio ever get sold? Went on their website yesterday, wabcradio.com and noticed it still says "Cumulus." Seems like that sale may be taking a lot longer than when Cumulus unloaded other New York city stations like 94.7 and 95.5-fm.

Re: Antenna TV gone?

Thanks. Yes I think WUPW-TV 36 will move from RF 46 to 26. Not sure if they're on the March 14 timeline that so many other stations are.

Re: Antenna TV gone?

Now that AntennaTV is back on WMNT, looking and sounding good, a question for those of you who get WMNT with an Antenna. Is "This" TV back on 48.3? Buckeye Broadband doesn't show 48.3 anymore. It used to be on cable channel 157 in Ohio. Now, it skips 157 entirely, going from AntennaTV on 156, to Coz...

Re: Holy Toledo Radio Confusion

Thanks TeddyBear. That lower band certainly has gotten more crowded in the last few years. I guess there are still enough loyal listeners to fund all those religious stations and keep those towers functioning.

Re: Holy Toledo Radio Confusion

LOL...I think you did. Is WYSZ-FM 89.3 (aka YES FM) on that tower as well? I know they used to use WLMB-TV 40's tower. Not sure if they still do, or if they have another tower site now.

Re: Toledo's "Mix 95.7" off the air?

Considering that Mix 95.7 only has one local dj/host, Brandy Brown's mid-day show, I thought they might be off for a while. Whenever they have satellite problems, those issues seem to last for a few days, sometimes up to a week before they're able to air any national programs, such as Keith Sweat's ...

Re: Toledo's "Mix 95.7" off the air?

Back on, some time late last night/early this morning. Thank goodness! One of my favorite music stations, even if I'm not their target demo! I've always loved classic hip-hopp/r&b.

Toledo's "Mix 95.7" off the air?

Noticed as of about 3:30 this afternoon that WIMX-FM (aka) "Mix 95.7" was off the air. It was playing fine while I was listening to their "Solid Gold Lunch Café" around noon. Then when I came back to it at 3:30 it was all static. Even their web stream via Tunein is mostly static, with a little bit o...

Re: Antenna TV gone?

WMYD-TV 20 Detroit and it's subchannels are only available on Buckeye Broadband on the Michigan side of the border, namely Bedford township. When I do a zip code search on AntennaTV's website, it says I should be able to get it on 20.2 with an antenna. Will have to try that, as I don't think it'll b...

Re: Antenna TV gone?

The local ads (which were always so much louder than the networks) were gone from AntennaTV for about a month before it went down. No local ads on Cozi or This either. The fact that This and Antenna are now gone, makes me think WMNT may not be around, at least under current ownership, for much longe...

Re: Antenna TV gone?

I can tell you there is just a black screen on Buckeye Broadband channel 156, where AntennaTV had been. As for the main channel 48/58 on Buckeye, I saw some Buckeye/Blade ads on there, but nothing else. Wondering if WMNT is going down. They already dropped "THIS" still have "COZI" for now.

Re: WNWO last night during SNL.

I sound like a broken record when these issues come up, but I wish the FCC would do away with their "network non-duplication" and "syndex" rules so cable providers like Buckeye Broadband could offer NBC via Detroit's WDIV, in addition to WNWO, so when things like the SNL screw up happen, consumers h...
