I'm actually impressed that they got the video back on the air as quickly as they did. Still limping along (audio wise is the most noticeable), but the production people have most definitely earned their pay this evening. Kudos to them.

Something very bad has happened with Bally Sports' connection from Comerica Park. Tonight's broadcast is audio only on a connection that's not even as good as your iPhone on speaker.

WWJ was essentially unlistenable due to interference / weak power / and incredibly low volume as the storms passed through the east-central part of Oakland county. Not much better now after the weather has cleared.

Shepard has been making a lot more mistakes this year than I remember in previous seasons. Wrong number of outs, wrong player IDs, and so forth. Not a big deal - but consistently messing up the basics is not good.

It was truly awful for someone that is looking for lighthearted television viewing. Very little about the boats and Bob-lo Island vs. a biography of the people trying to restore the Ste Claire (good people, but I just don't care about their personal lives). Not a one. Definitely had a business as usual feel to it. Loud (and probably annoying to many) for sure, but harmless if you plugged your ears.

It's on purpose. They tune them to run rich which gets the desires "backfire" effect.

Witnessed quite the spectacle on 7th Ave in Times Square one Saturday night when it was an unofficial ear-splitting fake backfire competition.
