Re: This TV 4.2 OTA
I don't get this channel over the air. Is it new? WHNE-LD has been operating from its Oak Park location since 2014. Was on Virtual 14 (RF20) until last repack. Now on low VHF3 (Virtual and RF) since spring 2020. Low power 3 kW on low VHF makes for difficult reception for many in metro area. Too bad...

Re: This TV 4.2 OTA
The WHNETV.COM web site has the complete schedule for all WHNE channels and ALL of the local Detroit TV stations right on the home page.
It can be changed to check different days and times with a pull-down menu. I've never seen anyone post this before, but it's been available for several years.

Don't forget that the WHNE Drive In channel (3.6) on plays classic movies without any interruptions. Commercials are played between the movies.

Re: WMYD 20.1 gave up the ghost
I do believe with certainty that my TV does have an ATSC 3.0 tuner because I remember picking up the test signals and simulcasts just before the last repack. But that also has effected the channels I used to get. ... 😔 If you do have an ATSC 3.0 tuner you would likely not be having any trouble with...

Re: WADL lands My Network TV
I'm also surprised that TV20 didn't take the opportunity of their new-found independence to drop the WMYD calls and go for something new. Like take back the WXON callsign? It became available again after the LPTV in Flint closed down many years ago. WXON is not available. The newest TV station in t...

Re: WADL lands My Network TV
Would love to see Dance Party brought back to WADL My network TV What does Dance Party have to do with WADL or My Network TV? That was a great local TV show in it's day, so was Soupy Sales and Johnny Ginger. Do you really think those shows would work today? Young people today don't do the same thin...

Re: WADL lands My Network TV
For some reason everyone seems to think getting My Network is a big deal. Why? My Network is not a real network, they are a "distribution service". They provide 2 hours of reruns weeknights. That's it! 10 hours of programs a week is all they send to the station. Some markets actually run them overni...

Re: WADL lands My Network TV
Currently, I can’t get WADL or WMYD, as I don’t have cable. I only have a HuluTV subscriptions. Trying to find another way to get those two stations. Buy an antenna to watch WADL. Buy a converter/3.0 TV to watch WMYD. What does WMYD have on that's not already on the air in Detroit on regular TV now...

Re: Blarney Stone Petitions FCC to cancel WLDR license
If it went to auction it might not return for a decade, between waiting for the next auction, and build-out time. Could Roy be persuaded to swap out a lesser class Traverse City facility for the WLDR Class C1 facility for a reasonable amount of money? Kind of like the WGER WIOG facility swap? Didn'...

Re: 40 years ago in 1979
Back in April or May of 1984, WIOG switched to brand new DJ's instead of the reel to reel tapes I think. That station played "Hot Tracks" including a few album track songs!!! Do you know why they switched from reel to reel tapes and went with live DJ's? It was because of WFXZ known as "Foxy 101". T...

Re: WLDR-FM
I don't remember exactly, but they did have to clear a vacant Canadian allotment in the Soo to get the 96.3 into Petoskey. I believe Petoskey was on a different frequency back then, but have no idea what it was.

Re: WLDR-FM
What year did they get clearance for 96.3 from Canada?
Wasn't 96.3 an allotment in Sault Ste Marie until Dave Schaberg got it switched to another frequency?

Re: WLDR-FM
Looks like about 61 miles to the sand pit on the top of the hill from the Petoskey tower.
