Re: Biden Speech
I'm fairly certain Trump did in fact voluntarily leave the White House when his time was up.

Re: Biden Speech
On that point I completely disagree. Trump is more "American" than Biden ever was or will be. Biden leans much more towards European socialism.

Re: Biden Speech
Here's another angle. I'm sorry, but just visually, this is really bizarre.

Re: Anyone here ever go skydiving?
My sister described something similar with the initial panic. She said the panic leading up to the jump caused more anxiety than the fall itself, which she said became enjoyable after the first few hundred feet....said the wind in her face was almost unbearable at first.

Anyone here ever go skydiving?
My sister just sent me some pics of her having gone skydiving, and for me, it would be one big NOPE. No thank you.
Anybody here ever go? What was it like?

Re: How many miles do you put on your car per year?
I've put 85,000 miles on my 2001 Chevy Blazer since 2011, so that works out to just under 8,000.

Re: Gutfeld most-watched late night program for month of August
This is definitely not apples to apples, not everyone has cable. (OMG!) That being said, I have not seen Gutfeld, is it similar to Seinfeld? I wouldn't compare him to Seinfeld. He and Jerry are both very sarcastic, but that's where the similarity ends. There's nobody really I can think of that is s...

Re: Gutfeld most-watched late night program for month of August
...he makes fun of what conservatives believe the people they don’t like are like. And the others don't? Colbert, Kimmel, and the rest of them make a living off of making fun of the very caricature that their viewers believe conservatives to be. And you don't have to like him. There's no "trouble" ...

Gutfeld most-watched late night program for month of August
Colbert has been unseated as #1. During the month of August, Gutfeld averaged 2.19 million viewers. Colbert 2.15 million. Granted, it isn't quite an apples-to-apples comparison given the half hour difference in time slot, but envertheless, not bad for a program that hasn't even been on the air a yea...

Re: China’s dim prospects turn disastrous
In other China-related news, they're apparently no fans of Elon Musk's Starlink. In December 2021, China filed a complaint with the United Nations, claiming that two of Musk's Starlink satellites had nearly collided with the Tianhe module of its Tiangong Space Station -- in April and October of 2021...

Re: C'mon PayPal - get your act together!
I have a grammar story like that from about 4 years ago. I received a 3-page notice (on yellow paper) from the state of Michigan alleging I owe them a bunch of money in sales and use tax. The grammar, spelling, punctuation, and letter spacing (multiple words crammed together without spaces in betwee...

Re: NBC Discusses Ending Prime-Time Lineup at 10pm,
I'm not really surprised. Unfortunately, late night comedy shows have become increasingly political AND partisan in recent years - and all very left-leaning partisan (except maybe Fallon, though he certainly isn't right-leaning). Gutfeld's show fills a gaping hole in right-wing comedy. That said, as...
