Seems like a 20 year home isn’t very long for a major TV station. I wonder where they will move.
Acceptable registrations in the queue through April 26 at 9:00p ET have now been activated. Enjoy! -M.W.

Re: Trump will be president in 2024
So you want to play semantics here? Does "President-elect" work for you? btw - to answer your question, while the chances are astronomically small that he could actually serve as President in 2024, they're not zero. I'll leave it to you to figure out how that could theoretically happen. And I’ll le...

Re: TV62 adds a new subchannel
I noticed it last night. Just like 62.4, 62.5 doesn't broadcast any program information so I'm not sure what this programming is.

Re: Mixed Feelings About WJR since their Lineup Change
I understand your point, but I wasn’t commenting on the topic of self checkouts in my post. That wasn’t my point. I was commenting on the content of a radio show. I don’t mean to be rude, but the complaining about it on the radio for the past 25 years, as well as the latter part of your comment, is ...

Re: Mixed Feelings About WJR since their Lineup Change
Ever since the schedule change I rarely listen to WJR anymore. Prior, I really only listened to Albom. But now I get off work and the show is half over. Today Albom is taking callers to bitch about self checkout at the store; something I’ve been hearing old people bitch about for 25 years. I turned ...

I want to hear more from the people here who demand that journalists keep their opinions out of the news.

I don't know anything about copyright law, but I guess I better be careful playing a CD at a back yard barbecue or at work in the office.

Re: Rite Aid bankrupt
Rite Aid is down the street from my house. It's not my favorite, but when I need to deal with prescriptions, all the other pharmacies are out of my way, and I'm likely already frustrated or feeling like crap if I have a prescription, so proximity wins.

Re: Oregon plane crash
I fly about a 150000 miles each year and I've never been treated how you describe. No body search? No accusation that you're carrying explosives? No making you remove the radio from your carry on bag and turn it on to prove it really is just a radio? No duct tape over your mouth? You may be joking,...

Re: 950 WWJ lies to its listeners
I suspect because you're local to Michigan to be familiar with those 3 examples. I work with people all over the country who are not familiar with Michigan and those pronunciations, and I have heard the wrong pronunciations for all 3 of those examples when referring to the Michigan version. My point...

Re: 950 WWJ lies to its listeners
Yea, I agree it does sound odd. But so does Char-LOTTE in Michigan, as opposed to CHAR-lit in North Carolina. Or MYE-lin (Milan) as opposed to Mih-LON. Or TRA-verse City as opposed to Tra-VERSE City. I just go by how the locals say it.

Re: 950 WWJ lies to its listeners
It's been said before, but Jim Hughes is absolutely horrible. You can't understand half of what he says. Where exactly is "Ann-Apolis Road"? Not once, but three times. It's in Dearborn Heights and surrounding cities. I have a friend who lives on Annapolis St for 20-some years, and another friend wh...

Or BB Hall of Fame to feed the superfan egos and keep letting them believe that 1,000+ pages of realtime chatter proves popularity of their brokered sportstalk messiah.

Gosh I loved that cartoon as a kid. I thought it was hilarious, especially the toaster scene. Very nostalgic to me now.
