Re: Hey, WJR - your Facebook page stinks! (Even more so than your on-air programming!)

Is their Facebook page all that important considering the demographics they are targeting? I agree that WOOD has a better page but WJR seems to be putting all their eggs in the website basket.. clearly they want to use their Facebook page for community outreach and that’s it..: bad strategy I think ...

Re: Hey, WJR - your Facebook page stinks! (Even more so than your on-air programming!)

50,000 watts. A supposed "News / Talk" station. What does the (not so) great voice of the Great Lakes use for content on its FB page? Iran tensions? Nope. Impeachment developments? Nope. Road funding debate in Michigan? Nope. Environmental disaster in Madison Heights? Nope. Dem primary race? Nope. ...

Re: Trump admin to move to relax school meal standards

Why is public education in the food business? Because the kids have to eat.... They also need to be clothed and sheltered. Why isn’t public education providing that too? Charity Programs do exist that allow kids to shop with someone for a coat for example. But if they don’t eat it will reduce their...

Re: Debate MIA?

Ok, thanks for your explanation. I hope you understand why I call it the democrat party for the same reasons. They're not interested things being truly democratic, hence I use the singular form. How did they get your number? Is this a new form of polling? The Republicans are not really into being i...

Re: Debate MIA?

I think Sanders would cause Trump to win. Probably Why??? What does that have to with CNN asking extremely leading questions and journalistic integrity? MW seemed to be running under the guise that they were in the bag for the Democrats so I rolled with that... just like a debate on FOX might produ...

Re: Trump admin to move to relax school meal standards

If local folks can't find it important enough to vote in folks they think are representative to their local area then shame on them and they get what they deserve. So the children get what they deserve, in your view? I was going to ask the same thing... that’s a hard sell... The PARENTS and constit...

Re: Debate MIA?

CNN wants Warren to win...badly. They would be perfectly happy with Klobuchar, too, and probably wouldn't mind Biden cinching the nomination. CNN tried to throw Bernie under the bus on Debate Night. I agree with all of the below opinions. https://www.chicagotribune.com/columns/john-kass/ct-bernie-s...

Re: Three CBS-Owned CW Stations Add Nightly News

The newscasts will be produced at another CBS-owned station, which will add national news, sports and weather, then sent back to the station where it will air. In Detroit's case, it will be produced at another CBS-owned station that has a full news department. WKBD Detroit will debut 10 p.m. news J...

Re: Trump admin to move to relax school meal standards

I know how local school boards are run. The politics inside of these boards is often worse (if that is even possible) than the politics that goes on in Washington DC. AGREED 100%!!! Many of those people on a school board are far less politically talented and savvy than those in DC... Little League ...

In order to claim some political money, they will need to generate a rating point. Hash marks won't cut it.
Are there any MMJ’s in need of a job that anybody has heard of locally?
