Re: 7.2 Million Views In 3.5 Hours

Twitter only recently quit publishing video views alongside post views (ie, people who simply see his post vs people who watch the video), and back when Tucker was first fired by Fox News, his first Twitter video had about 20% the views of the post. So of the 66 million current post views, the actua...

Re: 2024 Presidential Primary Polling Thread

Chris Christie's viability sits at exactly a zero percent chance of winning the nomination.

Re: Treasonous Trump indicted

Here's another fun little tidbit. While the answer to the question of whether Trump could pardon himself if he won the election is one that legal scholars don't agree on, Trump would have an easy way around this: The 25th Amendment: Section 3 Whenever the President transmits to the President pro tem...

Pat Sajak retiring

He will host one more season and then act as a consultant for 3 years, but after that he is done.

One of the last remaining TV hosts of an era gone by.

Re: Treasonous Trump indicted

The funny thing is, if he loses in 2024, there's nothing outside of death to keep him from running again in 2028.

Re: Treasonous Trump indicted

This also seems like an appropriate time to re-quote something I posted some months back. As president, Trump would technically oversee the Federal Bureau of Prisons. So if he were in federal custody, Trump could look for loopholes to improve his setup. "I assume he could designate the White House" ...

Re: Treasonous Trump indicted

Matt - I can't say that I particularly disagree with any specific thing you said. Though I would add one thing to that - Trump's supporters apparently haven't found anyone in the Republican party who in their opinion can replace Trump.

Re: Was This Ransomware?

I get a call at least once a week on this. It amazes me Google hasn't yet figured out a way to block these kinds of hijacks. Bottom line, as long as you didn't call the phone number on the screen and let someone remote into your PC, you'll be fine.

Re: Treasonous Trump indicted

I agree that Trump may be the victim of a selective prosecution, but Republicans/Conservatives also need to recognize that it is long past time to move on from Trump. FIFY I'll ask you the same question I asked RT the other day - why do you think Trump continues to still have the support he has fro...

Re: Treasonous Trump indicted

Ben - here is where I think you are kind of right. I think that even if Trump had ultimately turned over every single last document the National Archives requested and the FBI raid had turned up literally nothing, I do think he would still be charged with federal crimes. I think they would have inst...

Re: Another Phony Indictment

Here is an actual fact based discussion on why Trump was charged vs Hillary or Bidenwho weren't. He refused reasonable requests to return the material. What an idiot. So are you suggesting that if Trump, like Hillary, had simply destroyed all the remaining documents that he didn't turn over rather ...

Re: Treasonous Trump indicted

Ben, I think you need to remove the tinfoil hat and actually read some of the comments/arguments I and others have made in this thread. The legal language really isn't all that convoluted for anybody with about a 9th grade or higher level of reading comprehension to understand. The indictment is cle...

Re: Treasonous Trump indicted

I agree that Hillary should've been prosecuted. Any attorney who advised or helped her in destroying documents that were subject to discovery should also be prosecuted and at the very least be disbarred. So I'm curious - do you think the Trump case is similar enough to the Hillary case for Trump's ...
