Their sister station, WOMC, has dropouts about every 5 minutes, which last for about 1/5 of a second. But unlike WWJ, they don't have their tower far away in Berlin Township, which makes the whole thing even more of an oddity.
Also, exactly where is the Rouge River Bridge you're referring to?
Acceptable registrations in the queue through March 30 at 9:00a ET have now been activated. Enjoy! -M.W.

Remembering Farmer Jack 15 years later
It was 15 years ago today that the Detroit-based grocery chain Farmer Jack went out of business forever. If I remember correctly, what put them out of business was a buyout by A&P in the mid-90s, followed by expansions into the Toledo, Flint, and Lansing markets, with mixed results, and eventually, ...

SBN doesn't need as much bandwidth allocated to it either.

(APRIL FOOLS) WHNE adds Rewind TV, returns to UHF thru channel sharing

WHNE will continue to carry all of its current channels, but now indoor antenna users will be able to receive them with more ease. Channels 3.1 to 3.7 will be on WHPS's RF15...

The callsign is now DW30EX-D, meaning the license was cancelled.

Re: Warner and CBS possibly selling the CW
The sale is definitely not going to include WKBD. Nexstar is already at the limit of stations they can own. Unless they divest some of their current stations.
Maybe they'll add Nexstar's Rewind TV to a subchannel.

This TV is just a joke now. I hope that WDIV doesn't renew their contract with This and replaces it with Rewind TV

Re: For all you rubes that thought an "independent" commission was needed
The commission has uploaded some new draft maps. The only thing that's common among all of them is that they fixed that awful UP district. But this one is very different from the first draft, and I really like this one:

Re: For all you rubes that thought an "independent" commission was needed
Federal law requires that districts don't deviate too much from the target population. For state legislative districts, a deviation of 5% is allowed. For congressional districts, a deviation of I think 1000 people is allowed

Re: For all you rubes that thought an "independent" commission was needed
Canton and Wayne are on MI 12 on the way to Ann Arbor, and they're all quite milennialish. Ann Arbor fits in with those better than it does with any of the other options, such as Lenawee, Downriver, Livingston, or Jackson. It's probably the best option. Monroe County wouldn't be such a problem if Lu...
