Re: Broadcasting Hotties 2019
101... Many asexuals will describe their own bodies, if not proclaim themselves as sexy or hot. I've heard folks do this many times. You have not once. You had many chances. Situations are not people. How can I determine you, when you don't even determine or define yourself. I have asked you to do ...

Re: WMYD To Host Detroit’s First ATSC 3.0 Signal
Unlike the current standard, ATSC 3.0 makes use of both over-the-air signals and your in-home broadband to deliver an experience closer to cable or satellite. I don't see the big deal about ATSC 3.0 . I have a better picture now with the current standard then I ever recieved from Comcast . Just cur...

Amy Andrews      5 or 6 years ago I would have agreed. She was incredibly hot. It looks to me like shes done something to her face though and its not for the better. Still generally attractive and a great figure too. I agree. Sure looks like some man-made improvements ...

Re: WMYD To Host Detroit’s First ATSC 3.0 Signal
You can not get ATSC 1.0 & ATSC 3.0 into the same frequency/6MHZ bandwidth. It will be one or the other, it is physically impossible to do both. ATSC 1.0 uses 8-VSB modulation, ATSC 3.0 uses OFDM modulation. Two very different beasts. That's what I thought, but I didn't know if there was some optio...

Re: Democratic Debates thread
Also sounds like Kamala played the race card on Biden. Is that true? Was it effective? Yes. She started out with "Joe, I don't think you're a racist, but..." then went on to describe how she was the first black child ever to be bussed to school and apparently Joe was against that. She choked up a b...

Re: WMYD To Host Detroit’s First ATSC 3.0 Signal
I'm a little confused... I thought the 3.0 signals were not compatible with the 1.0 signals, so how would they broadcast on the same frequency?

Re: How much of the news show is scripted?
So Bill Bonds did this on the news set when re-writing scripts and stories . . . https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VuLNtRvU0CU Wow, that's hilarious! Can't blame him at all for blowing up about the script there! Curious though.... about the 2:20 mark he makes a comment that sounds like "Doris would b...

Re: How much of the news show is scripted?
Thanks for the posts! I remember Bonds but wasn't paying that much attention back then to remember how he delivered the broadcasts or interacted with others on the set.

How much of the news show is scripted?
For those that worked in the business, just how much of the local broadcasts are scripted and how closely do the anchors have to follow the script? I know the actual stories are written and they mostly follow the teleprompter for those (which makes sense), but how much of the banter and transitional...

In the up-and-coming department Ali Hoxie deserves a spot. Looks to be a lot taller when in the studio vs the field shots.

Re: A CBS News anchor shake-up could be in the works
Seems like all the stations could do a much better job of partnering with the networks and doing a better split on local news vs national news, rather than the local stations trying to cover both local and national on their own. I don't think I've **ever** heard a local news segment refer their view...

Re: Whitmer ultimatum: No budget signature without 'real' road funding
Gas sales and per-gallon taxes are going to be short-sighted unless we also address getting some road tax revenue from the electrics that are going to be hitting the market in much larger quantities. They pay virtually no road taxes as it stands today, so there will be increased incentives to purcha...

Re: 737 Max Jets. Take a seat?
So they should spend billions and billions and take a decade or so and come up with functionally the same exact design?? That makes no sense. The 737 is a proven design and fits a specific segment of the market. Not unsafe in any measure. The EE article is BS. The comment "The only way the system co...

Re: A CBS News anchor shake-up could be in the works
It is now official. Glor is out, Norah O'Donnell is in. Also, John Dickerson is out at the Morning Show. Tony Dokoupil and Anthony Mason will be the new hosts there. I can't say much about the morning show moves, but the move they made replacing Glor with O'Donnell is a big mistake, IMO. Both with ...

Re: 737 Max Jets. Take a seat?
You guys are funny. They took a PROVEN airframe and gave it more space, more power and more economy. Neither of those planes would have crashed if the crew followed established procedures that have been in place for decades, however they can (and will) tune the sw control so it's a bit more "forgivi...
