Re: From Trump Administration to Sinclair
What's the real reason why America This Week got pulled? Did Eric Bolling cross the line, even for Sinclair?

Re: From Trump Administration to Sinclair
The Sinclair stench has ruined local news. WSMH and WEYI are so unwatchable now. I would love a FCC waiver to get to watch something better.

Re: OMG...the new TV5 promo..
You can't blame Mike Terry on this one. Does anyone know what this was promoting? Custer did demand to be the last one featured, so now he loves it. Unfortunately, there will be more like this coming from Phoenix. It does easily hide how sub-par the newscast has become. Sports is still considered ex...

Re: TV5 and Local Steals & Deals
There is no local promotion. These are no deals. The products advertised are marked up, so WNEM gets a cut.

By the way, Veronica Gabriel quietly quit last week. She had enough of being the sidekick to Collette.

Re: Trump retweets embarrassing Sinclair video
The sad situation is that Ian Rubin was losing sleep and "shaking in his boots" when he heard about Sinclair taking over WEYI. They seriously thought the duopoly was going to overtake the Flint market with their new push for news. WNEM Creative services was in awe of their promos and felt that their...

Her sports anchoring career still lasted longer than Mike Terry's.

Re: Mike Terry's gone
Creative Services was outsourced to Phoenix. They are handling half of Meredith's creative team. No lazy individuals were selected. They couldn't find for anything to do after Karen got bounced.

Re: TV5 On Air Talent
That is true. Morale is even lower. Ashlyn was let go, and there is talk of even more reductions. The paychecks are lower, and employees are working 4 days a week with that unpaid furlough day. There is no direction, and Custer is just doing stories on his friends.

Re: Budget axe falls at TV5
Scot Johnson is still collecting a paycheck and doing even less than he did before. Jason Fielder is now taking reporter responsibilities. WNEM has no new advertising. Those moment of calm segments could at least find a sponsor. I'm surprised they aren't doing a wall to wall Corner Store on the week...

Re: Laziness
This isn't a topic about WNEM Creative Services? Is it true that WNEM can't sell advertising? Those weather promos are on ad nauseam, and 4 minutes doesn't matter when there's snow. Nice shot of getting that Linden school in that snow promo.

Re: Boyd
Veronica Gabriel wasn't told of Meredith bringing in Boyd. The intention was that this would be an attempt for her to elevate her career, but it appears now she will be the new Alana as the second banana and lost in the shuffle.
