Democrats take back control of the house

The quotes of the Republicans about "cooperation and bi-partisanship" made me laugh out loud. Time to get some things done in Michigan. Bridge Michigan Special elections in Southeast Michigan Tuesday are expected to end a months-long tie in the state House, which has been gripped by partisan gridloc...

Re: Open Letter to The Grateful Dead Station

Just a note to the Grateful Dead Station programming....

It's Spring, maybe it's time to add new songs / sets to the rotation. I love that version of Athena, but it might be nice to replace it with one from the 90's. Dead and Company has some interesting stuff, if you want to get spicy.

Re: NPR Senior Editor Blasts Lack of ‘Viewpoint Diversity’ After Leftward Lurch: ‘Open-Minded Spirit No Longer Exists’

How would NPR be balanced? And I bet there are a few parts of Uri's comments that were left out. Trump isn't "Conservative", he's sensationalistic. BMW is closer to the conservative that should exist, even if he has a few screwy ideas. I doubt NPR would consider adding a perspective that MTG or thes...

I hope the stock market doesn't take shit on Monday.
So you say you're concerned about the market? Kind of selective fears eh?

Aren't wars good for sitting Presidents?

Re: Minneapolis

Minneapolis is a cool place, St Paul (across the river) is more middle class. You should enjoy your event if it's in the summer. I will be there Tuesday for a bit.

If the government gets the same in taxes but spends more, then that piles on to the national debt. It doesn't just magically go away.
That magic is called The Fed and you'd be amazed how quickly debt can vanish.

Re: SCOTUS puts conservatives in a corner again.

And tons of government money!!!! So let's use that to justify giving the little guy money too!!!!! How about we just stop...

Michigan Charters ranked as third worst in U.S.

It's time for better accountability as predatory organizations have moved profit ahead of results. Do we really need another generation of under educated citizens in Michigan? Just keep in mind, any complaints about the public system, Charters are worse... The Michigan State Board of Education is as...

Re: SCOTUS puts conservatives in a corner again.

Then those who think it is a good idea should foot the bill. Those who don't should not have to pay from someone else so they can dodge an obligation they have. Sounds great, do we get to choose not to enrich petroleum and military complex global corporations? And what about ADM and corporate farm ...
