I was surprised at how flimsy LAV's signal was in Holland Charter Township earlier this week during the middle of the day. 96.9 from the Kenosha area was interfering a significant amount. Signal even fluttered a bit in Georgetown Twp, where it should be coming in like gangbusters.

During tropo in particular that is a possibility. 107.9 from Cleveland makes it into that area on occasion, too.

W300DI is definitely directional - the signal is very weak in the Birmingham, NW Royal Oak, and Berkley area - but I do suspect the actual radiation pattern is significantly looser than the licensed parameters. Extra ERP is probably being sent toward SW Detroit.

What 7&4 does is a Sinclair thing (WWMT does the same thing with its morning newscasts), and personally, I hate all that clutter on the screen.

13 has covered Pride extensively with live hits and stories from Muskegon and Grand Haven pride. I would assume they'll do the same with GR Pride.
