Re: Brent Ashcroft leaving WZZM
I remember the good ole days when it was Brent Ashcroft and Michele Deselms. Didn't they launch together on Fox 17 back in the late 90s together?

Re: WATZ cutting heads?
This does seem a little bit strange and out of character for the Biedermans stations, but there may be more to the story than we know. Biederman may be reevaluting his position in the market.

Re: WATZ cutting heads?
I have a feeling they are going to simocast WTCM on WATZ from Traverse City. Obviously it's worked for WKLT joining forces with WRGZ. H*** cost savings here. Guess we will just have to wait and see.

Re: Anybody home at 1680
I actually wonder who would listen to rap music on AM radio anyways. The translator is obviously the only asset here. My radio buddy tells me how AM radio stations across the country are handing in their licences every day. Nobody is listening and no one is buying Ads. My opinion would be to file wi...

The signal is very strong. Was able to pick it up on my car radio in West Branch over this past weekend. That's 77 miles away from the transmitter.

Maybe they could try Big D and Bubba? This Hillbilly Duo is helping WMKC in the great north, put the hammer down on the competition. Couldn't hurt.

Re: Mark Pennington joins The Bear for mornings
Has anyone had a chance to check out the 95.1 FM translator in TC? Just curious if it indeed is penetrating office buildings down on front street? I had a listen online and seems voice tracked in the morning

I think that crusing 92.9 has a local morning guy. If so that definitely can't hurt. Not sure if they are voice tracking mornings or doing it live? Anyhow I will give it a listen tomorrow morning and see. Didn't free beer and hot wings bomb out once before in the Lansing market? Seems like they did ...

Back in the day Fremont had a good Classic Country station. 92.5 FM the outlaw? The fisherman in Hesperia loved it. The station no longer has a country format and the fishing in Hesperia sucks now too. Ha How times change.....
