Re: Bill Vogel

Nothing on 9&10, UpNorthLive or the Record-Eagle yet. Then again, the media jumped the shark on Michael O'Shea's passing, too.

Re: Dead Eye Dick-New Age Girl

Another 1990s one-hit wonder, peaking at #27 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1994. Of course, the song's success was also due to its use on the Dumb and Dumber soundtrack.

Re: Cornershop

Here in America, "Brimful of Asha" was a hit on alternative rock radio. In England, it was a #1 smash thanks to a remix by Norman "Fatboy Slim" Cook. The "Asha" in the song refers to Asha Bhosle, a well-known Indian singer. Cornershop *did* have a follow-up, "Sleep on the Left Side" which peaked at ...

"6 Underground" is an awesome song. Personally, I like the original over the remixed version.

"Spin Spin Sugar" is another minor hit of theirs and they collaborated with Marilyn Manson on "Long Hard Road out of Hell".

It was a funny sketch!

The woman who played the role of Dr. Fauci was terrific.
Kate McKinnon. She's definitely one of SNL's best at the moment.

Williams Kia in Traverse City also had the La Bamba parody.
How many years ago did they use that or is it still being used?

Wasn't this an alternative station in the 90s/early 2000s? Sorry, my memory is fuzzy. Haven't been in that area in 8 years.
You're thinking about The Zone, which was at 95.5 where Rock 105 & 95.5 is now.
