That sale (along with a rimshot outside of Albany GA) also means that WTOD 106.5 is the only station left in Cumulus’ post-bankruptcy divestiture trust.

Who would run it? iHeart doesn't have an FM to give up, Cumulus wants out of Detroit (otherwise 93.1 would be in consideration), and Beasley failed with 105.1.

Few people were aware 1470 ever existed or that it died.

Last they were used was on the CP for what became WVXG 95.1 in Mount Gilead in the early 1990s. Thought someone would have claimed it by now.

This was done by the station itself, not by Tegna. And for those who want to hate on it, I’d take it over the Boring McGraphics from Scripps, Sinclair, Fox and Nexstar, hands down.
