Re: Bally Sports Plus Streaming App To Launch June 23

What a bunch of horseshit. I’ll listen to radio and use ‘alternate’ streaming services on a per game basis. I can’t remember the last time I watched the Tigers on tv. I don’t watch the Pistons. And the Wings games that start at 9pm eastern and later are too late for my schedule. Bite me Bally. Why ...

Yep.
Pot, meet kettle

You’ve never grown up in all your time on this board. Sad
I just read this entire miserable thread, and I'd say they are both a-holes. Jesus.

Other than Japanese radios and hobbyists, who can even tune into frequencies below 87.7? It would take decades to replace the millions upon millions of radios.
Other than the hardcore enthusiasts like we have on this forum, who would even bother replacing their radios?

Re: A little late, but...

Since radio stations never use their call letters other than at the top of the hour, it's amazing how many of these stations I cannot identify. Now, if they were listed by 'The Fox," "The Bear," "The Orangutan," "The Gourd," "Happy Hunter 104.5," or "Q-Licious 101," I might know some of them.

The hard on some of you have for David is incredible. What about that is offensive? Oxford is a current event that happened in our own state. Active shooter drills are becoming common in schools. Is it not relevant to find out whether those drills are working? Maybe you all are more comfortable wit...

Re: Jason Fielder mishap

I was watching WNEM+ 10:00 News Sunday night & Jason Fielder had a screw up because Jason said that Tom Brady will be playing for the New England Patriots (which is Tampa Bay Bucs) for the NFL Divisional Playoff (against Arizona Cardinals or the Los Angeles Rams) at the end of the broadcast!! :shoc...

Re: Seriously, it’s 2022

OMG - that article is sad. Custer wants to make it all about his sexuality as the reason people don’t like him. The reason I don’t like him and won’t watch TV5 for news is because he comes across as a smug, narcissistic, self centered jackass on air. It’s so apparent that it’s all about him and thi...

Custer got a perm? And what's with the stubbly goatee? Not a good look for our trusted news source.

I think she looked terrible when she was governor and looks equally terrible now. But, yes, different. Just like everyone else as they age (except maybe Dick Clark).

I don't know what is more shocking, someone sticking around for 25 years or the fact that it's been 25 years since 1996.

Re: 96.1 WHNN re-brands from "My 96.1" to "80s, 90s, and Now"

About the "80's, 90s, and Now" slogan that is being used by so many stations across the map, I think it's a damn weird way to position a station. Is everything since the 90s considered to be "now?" That's an awfully wide period of time, particularly for people who are at the age where 80s and 90s is...
