Re: 106.3 in Esky

Tick tock!

106.3 has to sign on for at least a day by April 26. Otherwise, it loses its license.

Re: Worst Facility Changes In Radio History

WPBN moving away from Harrietta. They should have been able to go 1MW on 50 from there. In a related note, WTOM and WCML not coming close to matching their analog coverage (they only run 78kW and 300kW respectively and both of them should be running at least 500kW if not more). Another one being WFQ...

Re: 106.3 in Esky

I can tell you as a person who goes up I-43 to the UP every other week, 106.3 does not make it to the Sheboygan, Manitowoc area. 106.5 might wipe that out in Sheboygan. In GrBay there is a translator on 106.3 for Razor94.7. In the summer with skip, still, not a factor! The only Lower Peninsula stat...

Re: 106.3 in Esky

Probably not. Green Bay and Petoskey both have a 106.7. There is a 106.9 in Ironwood and another low power 106.9 in the Sturgeon Bay area. If 106.3 was turned in to the FCC, could the IM 106.7 move to, say, 106.5 and upgrade? And speaking of 106.3, does WKLA reach the Door Peninsula or even the mai...

Re: 106.3 in Esky

Would 106.7 in Iron Mountain be able to upgrade if 106.3 wasn't in the way?

Now what happens? For sale?
1. The license is turned in to the FCC, allowing other nearby stations to upgrade
2. It becomes a noncommercial station

Re: 106.3 in Esky

<<According to Radio-Locator their license expires October 1. Should be interesting to see what happens in the next two months. http://radio-locator.com/info/WMXG-FM>> Getting very close to October and passing through area yesterday: NOTHING. What a far cry from the Top40/Rock format, jingles, line...

Re: 106.3 in Esky

I just bought a new Sangeon radio or actually my Parents bought it for me for my birthday and the things has a H*** antenna that goes 4 feet high. I put that thing up to it's max and I can pick up 95.5 real rock from Traverse city like a local station here in Escanaba. I can also pick up KHQ, Z93 f...

Re: 106.3 in Esky

Are they still licensed? And on another note, is Channel 8 in Iron Mountain still licensed?
