The deathwatch segment should simply be called “former viewers.”

Re: State of the State Address 2020: Anyone Watching?

This is very underwhelming. Just bonds? It's gonna take a lot more than bonds to fix our shitty roads.

State of the State Address 2020: Anyone Watching?

I'll be interested to hear what Governor Whitmer has to say about fixing the damn roads. Got PBS on now...

WNEM TV5 / Deathwatch / Breaking News. etc...

I think their Top 5 on 5 gimmick is pretty lame. Also I don't like TV5 Deathwatch after every newscast. That music is disturbing. Road Warriors seem a bit silly. Honestly with their news I would rather see more local news rather than opening a broadcast with national stories. That is what the CBS Ev...

Re: Looks Like Toll Roads Are Being Tossed Around Again

While that is very true, I have read that the Trump administration wants to relax those rules because a lot of states are having road problems.

I'm pretty sure 94,75 and any "I" road are off limits if they were built with federal money.

Michigan Politics under Political Potpourri?

Would it be possible to have a Michigan Politics section under Political Potpourri? Too often state issues/news get pushed out of sight from the enormous amount of national and international topics. It would be nice to have some local flavor with a section of it's own instead of having to scroll and...

Not concerned at all. The media just over dramatizes and hypes things like this.

Re: Tri Cities Ratings

Seems WHNN is fairly flat...could be for the format change or perhaps because of the Christmas music? I have a soft spot for WKCQ as I grew up listening to them in the 90's. But damn I can't stand that "new" country.

Re: Surprising programming change upcoming to WGN America; 3 hour national newscast to debut

I think the reason the 24/7 news outlets fill their schedules with so much bloat is because there simply isn't 24 hours of relevant news to report in a day. This is probably why cable news channels like CNN and MSNBC have non news programming in the evening on the weekends. Having WGN as a news cha...

Re: Greta Thunberg

The planet will take care of itself, it doesn't need us to intervene. I don't deny the climate changes, but of course it's a process the planet has gone through for eons. But what I DO deny is that it's man made. I am certain the climate would still be changing if we never existed.
