Re: The Blarney Stone Broadcasting Legacy

KLT is quite stale IMO. How many times do I need to hear Blue Oyster Cult, Rush, Foreigner, Kansas, etc.? Nothing against those bands but it's just the same stereotypical classic rock format.

Re: The Blarney Stone Broadcasting Legacy

I want to support local stations but I just can't get behind them. Grayling needs their country station back...perhaps in the form of a DUKE FM.

Re: Diversity

Diversity is all well and good. But what I don't like is affirmative action.

Re: Lawmakers consider toll roads in Michigan

I wonder how much potential Indiana Toll Road traffic uses US-12 as an alternative?

Michigan Senate GOP leader: Time to return some paved roads to gravel

Interesting idea. Any merit? Perhaps. But I think turning some roads back to local control could be more effective. In fact, it sounds like MDOT is turning over the portion of M-37 on Old Mission Peninsula to the Grand Traverse County Road Commission. Of course these turn overs need to be examined c...

Re: Lawmakers consider toll roads in Michigan

Everyone recognizes there is a problem but nobody wants to pay for it. I don't know the answer but I do know the longer we wait the worse off everything will be. I'm not particularly a fan of tolling but at this point it seems logical...it's basically a user fee and you have a choice to use it or no...

Re: The Blarney Stone Broadcasting Legacy

The playlist is a big part of why I don't listen. It is indeed way out there. Most of the time I'm not in the mood to listen to obscure titles. I find radio more enjoyable hearing the songs I like and familiar with. And I really don't like their (I'll use MW's term) stationality. Everything is prett...

Lawmakers consider toll roads in Michigan

https://nbc25news.com/news/local/lawmakers-consider-toll-roads-in-michigan I don't see how the state can implement toll roads in Michigan. I thought it wasn't allowed on federally funded roads?? And just tolling I-94?? How does that help the rest of the states major thoroughfares? This governor as r...

I live in Grayling and I do not listen to Q100 at all. That in itself says something!

Re: Worst gimmicks ever used

Well they never said it had to be a locally owned business. Besides some of those are locally owned franchisees. I absolutely LOVE the Dairy Queen! It's the ONLY place I get ice cream eating out. Soft serve is da bomb!

Re: Worst gimmicks ever used

Those Top 5's are lame AF. Once on Facebook they had a poll for best burger and best ice cream cone and I said 5 Guys Burger and Dairy Queen. They never even counted my votes!

I haven't watched it in years. I think it's outlasted its fun factor and relevancy.

Re: Help Needed

Speaking of plates, I might get a replacement next month when I renew it. Michigan plates are cheaply made and it shows. They peel real bad. I've seen some so bad you couldn't read it!
