WWE Network

So I re-subscribed to the WWE Network. It does take a bit to search for something specific but I think the streaming interface with Google Chromecast is much, much better than it's interface with HULU. Always seem to have issues casting from HULU. Anyways WWE Network has a lot and I mean a LOT of co...

Re: 106.7 is no more

100% agreed! DUKE FM is a great station. I listen online quite often as I'm not satisfied with the country stations in this area or lack thereof. The fact only small portions of Northern MI have access to such a format is outrageous. It would perform reasonably well up north if tried on a decent sig...

Re: Omelette returns

Not a fan of Terri Ray or Omelette. KLT just sounds too dated IMO. Can only listen to BOC, Journey, Kansas, Foreigner so many times ya know?

Re: 106.7 is no more

Hopefully a classic country channel comes to fruition. Face it, TCM sucks.

Re: Lodging/hospital cable lineups

If I remember correctly, a year or two ago when I stayed at the Quality Inn in Coldwater, they had both the Lansing/Jackson and Grand Rapids/Kalamazoo channels. Charter is largely the same in Grayling/Higgins Lake/Roscommon area and all carry WNEM. Long ago I recall ABC12 being carried in Houghton L...

80's are really all that matters to me with a little 90's. Could care less about newer music.

Congrats to Alana! This is the American Dream! That's even pretty tough to do in retail as well.
For the first time in my entire adult life, I'll have weekends and holidays off.

Re: Why Try and Ban Guns, Plastic Bags, and Vapes?

Soon we will have no choices, no say in what we do or say. I don't want a nanny state. For crying out loud, let people make their own choices.

Why Try and Ban Guns, Plastic Bags, and Vapes?

What is banning gonna do? After all, they are all inanimate objects. Those things themselves don't do anything on their own and requires a user. 1. Guns don't kill people, people kill people. 2. Plastic bags don't pollute our waterways, people do by not disposing of them properly. 3. Vaping pens don...

Re: For all you idiots shaming stores and shoppers today

In protest, I will not go to stores on the holidays aforementioned. As long as people keep going they will continue to remain open or have extended hours. Plus I believe stores should be closed so people can spend time with family and not miss out on festivities. Been there, done that, it is NOT fun...

Re: For all you idiots shaming stores and shoppers today

Hobby Lobby is also closed on Sundays. It is rather nice they do that for the reasons you stated. There's a fast food restaurant chain we like in Florida called Chic-Fil-A. The owners run it on Christian principles and they are closed every Sunday. I'm not religious in any sense of the word. I'm the...

Re: For all you idiots shaming stores and shoppers today

It's completely the opposite here. It's sad that corporate greed takes people away from their families on such holidays. Kinda sad really. Here in Ontario, most workers get the day off for designated holidays The ones with the greatest guarantee of the day off are retail workers. Stores aren't permi...

Re: For all you idiots shaming stores and shoppers today

You must work if you are scheduled if you want your job. That is what it boils down to. You can always ask for a holiday off, but even then there is no guarantee. I usually have decent success with that. Money is nice but I don't really care about holiday pay or time and a half. It's just not worth ...
