Most places like that closed up their fitting rooms too.

Re: Fox 33 Newscast

Hmmm, the production values seems heaps better before Heritage took over. Actually feels like a FOX station back then.

Re: I refuse to wear a mask

I like the hard stances many stores are taking. Meijer and I believe Walmart are requiring their employees to have their temperature takes and a health questionnaire before their shifts. If it's not good you are sent home. And Target is limiting the number of customers in the building at one time. S...

Re: My road funding proposal (flashback to April 2019)...

I was actually thinking about that the other day. Biden could pick her as running mate. I hope Garlin can get it done.
She's auditioning for the #2 and if it goes thru, it will be Garlin's problem to see that election promise make good.

Re: Amazon's Prioritization Of Deliveries

I also thought it was crappy to show items "in stock" but doesn't ship for several days. I could just go to the store and get stuff right now, no wait, I can't. I don't think I'll be renewing my membership. It expires in May. I think they'll do free shipping if your order is a certain dollar value. ...

As you know, road funding proposals have been sidelined and rightfully so due to the current situation. However when we're back in the clear roads need to be addressed.

Re: Amazon's Prioritization Of Deliveries

Yeah, I see your point and well taken. :rollin Amazon was getting kinda flaky anyways long before this pandemic. Paying for 2 day delivery but often times they'd arrive a day or two later. Always got on Amazon chat and I'd be given a credit or a membership extension. However I don't think that would...

Amazon's Prioritization Of Deliveries

First off, I get that Amazon is giving priority to essentials due to Covid-19. That said, should it be at the expense of Prime members who aren't ordering essentials? Otherwise we are not getting what we paid for. How much leeway do they have to not honor membership benefits? Should we be up in arms...

Re: Thoughts about work amid Covid-19 crisis

Yes, I do handle cash as a cashier. Customer service is just a drag, especially with the onslaught of this virus. Doesn't help we're understaffed. It's busy enough now like it's like summertime busy but without the help.

Thoughts about work amid Covid-19 crisis

With all this Covid-19 crap, I have been often wondering about changing my line of work as to not be classified as "essential" anymore. I don't wanna deal with anything like this again. Not only that but honestly I've been quite bored. I've been in retail for 21 years between two different grocers a...

Re: Self Quarantine

I have decided to take an additional week off work using some vacation time. So I'll go back in mid April. I feel like I'm doing the right thing. I can;t control what others do, I can control what I do. With so many people thinking this is vacation time because they are laid off, I fear for my safet...
