Re: Network programming preemptions by individual stations

Doubt it, guess we'll find out tonight. Fortunately, I found a way around it, using Hulu.

Re: Network programming preemptions by individual stations

Thanks. I checked TitanTV earlier today and didn't find anything either.

Re: Network programming preemptions by individual stations

Wondering if any of those stations will move Wheel and Jeopardy to a subchannel. Can't watch them on WDIV in the Toledo area because WTOL has asserted Synd-Ex rights, so Buckeye Broadband blocks WDIV in Toledo during those shows.

Future of "Face The Truth" and "The Doctors?"

I caught a few minutes of Vivica A. Fox's new show called "Face The Truth" and noticed it was the same or similar set to one of Stage 29's other programs "The Doctors." Anybody know how Vivica's new show is doing? I noticed on "The Doctors TV" home page clicking on tickets leads to a page saying it ...

No Backup streams for iHeart/Premiere XDS?

Noticed two Toledo area stations having satellite issues tonight, Tuesday March 12. In the past, these were short lived because the XDS satellite receiver would switch over to an internet stream after about 30 seconds of silence when the receiver lost it's lock on the carrier. Tonight, WCWA 1230 Fox...

Re: Network programming preemptions by individual stations

SPOILER ALERT! If you don't want to know who won the Jeopardy team tournament, don't read on. Team Brad won first place, team Ken was second and team Colby was third.

Re: 100.7 Toledo line up change

Actually, doesn't WJR still air Rush Limbaugh and Bill Cunningham's Sunday night show from Premiere?

Re: shows missing from Toledo's "Mix 95.7"

Whatever it was, must be resolved for now as Hughley is back on Mix 95.7

Re: shows missing from Toledo's "Mix 95.7"

Maybe, though two of the shows; Joyner and Hughley are through Radio 1 and broadcast via the Westwood One XDS platform. Sweat, on the other hand, is from iHeart/Premiere Networks on their platform, so surprised that all 3 shows are gone at the same time.

shows missing from Toledo's "Mix 95.7"

Noticed no Tom Joyner, DL Hughley, or "Sweat Hotel" on WIMX-FM Toledo's "Mix 95.7" for almost a week. During the usual time of Tom Joyner's morning show they occasionally play an announcement about an engineer eating pizza and spilling drinks on equipment. With today's technology, I'm surprised thes...

Re: Network programming preemptions by individual stations

Thanks for the info. I wondered if they would put "Chicago PD" on a subchannel or move it to another time on the main channel. Surprised NBC would okay this, since all three "Chicago" series have new episodes tomorrow night and it's during February sweeps.

Re: Bruce Williams Dies...

Wow, almost 87 years old. I remember when he nearly died flying his own airplane. He even hosted Talknet while in the hospital, recovering. One of his signature pieces of advice was to always get an attorney any time you're involved with a real-estate transaction, either buying or selling, whether f...

Re: 100.7 Toledo line up change

A shame for such a station with the history of WABC. I guess they're still making money with all those infomercials, even if nobody is listening to them anymore. Otherwise, what can you do with an old AM station that mainly targets people who remember it as a music station.

Not sure if this is accurate, but I heard that as of tomorrow February 4, Savage is podcast only and is no longer syndicated via terrestrial radio.

Re: 100.7 Toledo line up change

Clark Howard is one of my favorites. Glad they put him on 100.7 as I had been listening to him on AM 800 CKLW, or online via San Francisco's "Real Talk 910" website. Surprised Chris Plant is still on there at all. WABC Radio in New York city replaced him with Fox News's Brian Kilmead as of early Jan...
