Re: Three CBS-Owned CW Stations Add Nightly News

So the return of Emery King to local news has a zero percent chance at happening with this?

Re: Three CBS-Owned CW Stations Add Nightly News

What are the odds that Emery King makes a comeback for this? Also, what are the odds we get Scott Lewis, Steve Wilson, ML Elrick and a team of real investigative reporters on the CW 50 news team? Zero or less than zero?

Re: NOheart cuts have begun

It looks like iHeartlessMedia has removed the DJ profiles from all of their websites, which means they are likely preparing for massive cuts here locally.

Re: I'm not a big fan of WYCD's new imaging

I know it will never happen because he's "too country" but I wish WYCD would bring back John Willyard for voice overs. I also wish WOMC would use Randy Reeves again while we're on the subject. WYCD and WOMC never sounded better as a station than when Willyard and Reeves were doing the voice work on ...

Re: PPM results for 10/10 to 11/6 period`

Is Cume-less really that invested to the Nash branding that they would continue to let GNASH float along like this? How much longer does GNASH have to continue to rot below a 3.0 rating before the plug is pulled or at least the format is tweaked and station rebranded. Can we at least get a local mor...

Re: What will happen to 107.5 WGPR come January 1, 2020??

What about Smooth 107.5? I know it has historically been a dying format, but would Smooth Jazz do any worse than Hot 107.5 has been doing billing wise? Furthermore, Smooth Jazz still keeps the urban appeal that WGPR has historically had.

Re: The Breeze one year later

The one major flaw of the station is their afternoon drive host. Having Chris Edmonds or Kevin O'Neill would be markedly better than Ian Richards, who sounds out of place on such a station. Ian would be a great fit on a Channel 955 or 96.3 WDVD, but on an AC station, why Entercom hasn't made a real ...

You can join me in my monthly quest to beg Cumulus (or whoever ends up owning it) to flip 93.1 to sports. They have the Lions and Michigan State broadcasting rights can could get University of Michigan over the next couple of years to add to it. There are solid personalities out there, like Baligia...

Re: The Neilsen #13 Detroit September PPM

Exactly how bad does it have to get ratings and billing wise before Cume-less dumps GNASH-FM? What does rock bottom look like before they either change formats or rebrand the station?

New member here. Excited to join y'all. Why did 1130 drop Sean's show? No local sports show in Detroit morning drive is a shame. I don't count 97.1 Also where can you find Sean on Iheart. Re: It's official - 105.9 Kiss is now owned by Beasley

99.9 MHz has been broadcasting nothing but dead air ever since Beasley took over. The Praise Network's ratings have dropped by more than 60 percent over the past several months. I think listeners are getting fed up with the unreliable reception and the even worse sounding audio fidelity. Interestin...

Re: Ingredients for a morning news show

CBS This Morning, when they first relaunched the show with Charlie Rose, Gayle King, and Norah O'Donnell had the best approach with a more hard-news angle to their morning show. I'm tired of hearing about the best back-to-school recipes or what some celebrity did last week, which is what you get fro...
