Re: Snyder admin. willfully poisons Flint's water customers

This is completely unacceptable. Indeed. This could be one of the worst recent contamination disasters in modern history. Love Canal affected 800 families. The Elk River contamination in West Virginia affected 300,000. That contamination was revealed on the day it occured. The Walkerton, Ontario E....

Re: For the sake of humanity, FIRE Darnell Earley now!!!

The sun shines a little brighter!

Too bad he's not leaving February 3rd.
Bet 'ure bottom dollar Snyder told him to take a hike... probably after Snyder's PR firm told him to do it.

And he's refusing to testify before congress about Flint.
Oh well, just one less double talker on the Hill.

1995!

What do they teach in these schools?!?!

The bitching about it in the lead-up before it and the blame game after it lasted a whole lot longer.

Re: For the sake of humanity, FIRE Darnell Earley now!!!

It's true other districts would probably take more students for the per pupil funding. A lot, and I mean a lot, of Detroit kids are already going to other school districts. It was a poorly kept secret that East Detroit Schools' enrolment was made up of a lot of Detroit residents. And then you have s...

For the sake of humanity, FIRE Darnell Earley now!!!

I don't think this guy could run a refrigerator much less a city or a school district. On a second try Earley spent district money to pay lawyers to get an injuction to stop teachers from sick-outs. Which a judge denied... again. http://www.wxyz.com/news/2-detroit-schools-closed-due-to-teacher-sick-...

Re: A More Measured Analysis Of The Flint Water Crisis

Here, measure this... Virginia Tech tested the water this past summer at 271 Flint homes around the city. To start, Detroit water tested at 2.3 parts per billion of lead. You'd have to double that to 5 parts per billion to raise concern. The 90th percentile of homes tested in Flint was 27 parts per ...
