Re: Cruz would get fewest electoral votes

Keep the rationalization alive boys. Hillary is twice the man Cruz is. A prominent aide to George W. Bush's 2000 campaign could barely contain himself when we asked him to discuss Cruz, who worked in the campaign's policy shop. This person described Cruz as hyper-arrogant and widely despised, and h...

Re: Cruz Campaign is Done

I remain confident in my now longtime prediction that Trump will reach 1237 and win on the first ballot. If recent polling in Indiana and California holds, he might not even need any unbound delegates to get there, except maybe some of Pennsylvania's, at least some of which will undoubtedly vote fo...

Re: Cruz would get fewest electoral votes

If Cruz gets the nomination, the electorate will get a better view of him and that has already started with his well-received Fallon appearance Or better yet maybe people will remember him from his roll as "The Penguin" in the Batman series. http://41.media.tumblr.com/82fe42df81af2d7a2ce1d41032dccf...

Cruz Campaign is Done

Now that Cruz is mathematically eliminated from getting the 1,237 delegates before Cleveland and is the GOP candidate with the furthest chance to win in November he should end his campaign. The Cruz campaign took a major blow in the polls today. The latest Republican primary poll for Indiana from WT...

Re: Low-Energy Trump...

I don't think he'll make an exit until the convention. In Cleveland Trump could be in a position to get everything to salvage his ego... except the nomination. At that point Trump would be in a position to be a "king maker." The guy understands how to make a deal. He could cut a deal to try to get e...

Re: Cruz would get fewest electoral votes

These national polls absolutely do make a difference. Take Michigan for example. In both the March 8th Republican and Democratic primaries there were just under 2.5 million voters. In the last two presidential general elections, '08 and '12, there were about 5 million in Michigan. Just over 5 millio...

Re: Cruz would get fewest electoral votes

What's laughable is that sites like hotair are also trying to say this poll is cloudy (or using the higher priced word "nebulous") because states like Oregon, Michigan and even Minnesota!, Yes Minnesota!, could be in play for Cruz because Hillary has a lead by only a few points. Based on this poll o...

Cruz would get fewest electoral votes

In one of the largest polls Morning Consult used 44,000 responses to model how voters in every state would cast their ballots in the November general election. 270 is needed to win. Kasich 304 - Clinton 234 Trump 210 - Clinton 328 Cruz 206 - Clinton 332 http://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/20...

Re: Speed limits

Leave it at 70 and put more cops on the road to make money off the speeders.

And if somebody wants adjustable speed limit "smart signs" everywhere then you take some money out of your wallet to pay for it. Because that's a helluva lot more expensive than signs made out of plywood and stickers.

They should have handed that district over to a court appointed trustee.
With the judge regularly overseeing the work of the trustee.

The EM law doesn't work.

Re: Cruz shut out in Michigan

That's not correct No you still don't get it... Which isn't odd for a Cruz supporter. At the state convention, out of all the 59 Michigan Republican delegates, 8 of those 59 are chosen to sit on four committees at the national convention. None of Cruz's 17 Michigan delegates were choosen to sit on ...

No, its correct. His delegates got shut out of all committee seats. Read the whole post. And if the topic heading is wrong then so are the Wall Street Journal, NBC and The News. http://www.detroitnews.com/story/news/politics/elections/2016/04/10/michs-kasich-trump-delegates-block-cruzs-camp/82857496...

Cruz shut out in Michigan

Cruz's cherry picking of delegates finally caught up with him in Michigan. At this weekend's state Republican convention in Lansing none of Cruz's Michigan delegates got choosen for positions on any of the four committees for the national convention in Cleveland. Including the much talked about Rule...
