Heading to Sarasota for ten days starting September 7th. Kind of curious what kind of DX'ing I will find on AM band with my Sangean. Any shortwave available with just the whip antenna...Nothing here in Alaska where I leave in the city.

I see that WJMK Bridgeport AM 1250 now is broadcasting translator on 99.3FM...Any idea how far that signal gets out on FM???
