Re: WPON WCXI Updates - 2019
Doesn’t WCXI have a CP for 15,000 watts? Why would they need authorization? They can go full power right now, then apply for the actual license. Sima and company are just cheap, that’s all. Fuzz I dug this up just for your clarification: WCXI - Special Temporary Authority - June 26, 2019 This autho...

Re: WPON WCXI Updates - 2019
I think WCXI is still on low power from the new site. WPON on the other hand... zilch. If you'll recall from a few posts up that WCXI received authorization to operate at reduced power from the new site just to get moved. Remember their transmitter failed sometime back and the station desperate for...

Re: WJBK signal interference?
I've been noticing lately that we're seeing a lot of periodic tiling on FOX2. Signal seems fine for a while, then there will be a few minutes of intermittent tiling and loss of audio, then it will be OK for a bit. I'm wondering if there could be other things causing interference, that, coupled with...

Re: WPON WCXI Updates - 2019

Re: WPON WCXI Updates - 2019
WCXI is off the air today (September 3, 2019). Therefore, I decided to recheck the expiration dates of authorizations of both WCXI and WPON. First WPON received this authorization on March 11, 2019: "THE LICENSEE RESPECTFULLY REQUESTS AN EXTENSION ITS CURRENT STA (COPY ATTACHED). AT THIS TIME, THE ...

Re: Has WCXI 1160 moved to Milford Twp?
Also they seem to be back to regular programming with whoever their on-air talent are. The signal for me is perfect however I am less than 3 miles from the new transmission site.
