First thing I noticed is how cold it is up here. Also, only one month after the equinox, the days are markedly longer here than in Florida.

It was interesting that day one of jury selection, 50 prospective jurors were dismissed when asked if they could be fair and impartial. In this instance, I could not meet that criteria. Whereas most stations are like cheer leaders for capitalism, NPR has only a slight pro-capitalist bias. They end each newscast with an update of the various market indexes. NPR, as an organization, has an anti-labor bias. But I don't really hear that bias reflected in their programming.

When we're here in Florida, I listen to NPR almost exclusively. They are the least biased and most objective of all the talk radio stations in the Tampa Bay area.

Have any of you ever been to Minneapolis? I haven't been.

I'm invited to attend an event there with my Union in September. I just checked it out and it's shorter distance than I expected. Should be an easy drive.
