Re: How About Michigan Just Ignore EPA Regulations?

Because you can't right the first wrong by throwing every other piece of order you don't like out the window. That's called chaos. Chaos. That's a very good term to describe our current DOJ. Hey, it's their job to enforce ALL the laws and regulations. Not just the ones that they like. Picking and c...

How About Michigan Just Ignore EPA Regulations?

We have a looming power shortage situation on the horizon in Michigan. EPA rules and regulations will cause the shuttering of several coal plants in our state in the very near future. These plants supply a whole bunch of the electricity used in this state. The time it will take and the hurdles that ...

Re: Democrat Debate

The parties switched. Those comparisons to Democrats of old or Republicans of old don't make one bit of difference. Well, they've done a good job selling you (as well as countless others) on that. But, that narrative is just plain false. The Democrat party doesn't really give two shits about black ...

Thought the word "rainbow" covered him quite nicely.

Re: Democrat Debate

Whereas the nasty, racist, grumpy old white men party has a veritable rainbow of candidates, including a woman, with varied backgrounds and accomplishments. Things that make you go hmmmmm. It's good to know that bigotry and hate crosses all colors and genders eh? Progress... Before you lay the bigo...

Re: Democrat Debate

What really struck me about the Democrat Debate was that the party of "inclusion" and "diversity" fielded a stage full of old and middle aged white guys along with an old white woman. None of whom has much of a resume beyond being a career politician. Whereas the nasty, racist, grumpy old white men ...

Re: Guess The Beer

For what it's worth. Czechvar is sold as Budweiser in Europe. Some kind of trademark issue causes it to be marketed as Czechvar in the US and in Canada.

Re: Guess The Beer

That one is a stumper for me. Hint It's from Poland Only Polish beer I can find that ends with M is Okocim, but I don't think that's it. An Irishman, an Italian, and a Polish guy are in a bar. They are having a good time and all agree that the bar is a nice place. Then the Irishman says, "Aye, this...

Re: Food Pics

When mama and the kids are gone for the weekend, I get to fix what I like. Dinner tonight was: Bacon wrapped tenderloin served over grilled asparagus with a drizzle of bearnaise and a grilled peach with goat cheese and balsamic vinegar for desert. https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/548/19220527985_4e73cd...

THAT is for sure. Again, reminded me of chewing on raw hops. I can certainly understand why some like it, especially the IPA crowd, as tastes vary, but I'm betting my friend TT wouldn't like it one bit.

What do I know, I like anchovies on most anything.
