Re: Yup. China Developed COVID-19 In A Lab-Gordon Chang

Just a point of fact there is a difference between "created in" and "escaped from". While the virus wasn't "man made" it doesn't mean it didn't escape from a lab.

I just voted....no. I joined this place at a time when I was an avid radio listener......often hours a day.

If Entercom's 97.1 is in the midst of major job cuts, WHY is this position still posted on the national careers board? https://entercom.avature.net/careers/Jo ... host/15346
Maybe so they can fire a guy making 10 apples and replace him with a guy for 5 apples?

Re: 97.1

My gut says Stoney just took an extra day. I would think if he was fired....
1. His partner Jamie would know.
2. Jamie wouldn't outright lie to hide it.
But that is my radio civilian opinion.

I would argue Greece got it right.

Their population is almost identical to that of Michigan. Fewer than 3,500 cases and fewer than 200 total deaths.
Can't say I'm familiar with what they did. I suppose I could Google it unless you have the Cliff Notes. 😁

I'm clueless here because I've never paid attention to Matt Drudge.
Is he exhibiting bizarre behavior?

Re: Surprised It Took This Long

To add to my numbers game that 285 unarmed deaths is about 57 a year. I've read statistics that cops make 10 million arrests per year. Now I'm guessing from my cop family they only arrest less than 1 in 20 people they interact with. Maybe way less I don't know. In general cops don't like arresting p...

285 unarmed people killed in one year and no police in prison?
It was 285 in 4.5 years. I made that very clear so get your fucking reading comprehension skills up to a third grade level or just shut the fuck up.

And I imagine some police were convicted. The information I read didn't cover that.

Re: Surprised It Took This Long

Any studies out there about how many lives have been saved by police? Yes, policing in the country has major issues and there have been many lives needlessly cut short that should not have been. But there is literally no one out there talking about the ugly, impossible to quantify truth: our police...

Re: Surprised It Took This Long

Are you denying all the dead at the hands of the police? Speaking for myself I'm not denying them but according to the Washington Post who seems to be the popular record keeper 93.3% of those killed since 2015 were armed. And a gun was the most popular weapon. People who whine and cry about how man...

Re: CNN Builds Trump Wall To Isolate Itself From Rioters

It's hardly a fucking wall. They've erected a standard height temporary chain link fence...a wobbly one at that. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Ea5PfslWAAMy6a0?format=jpg&name=small I am no fan of CNN after they butchered that Covington KY kid in DC but i agree that ain't really a wall. Its so flimsy ...
