Re: The pandemic will be over by May 1
This won't change anybody's mind but its worth pointing out the science of MRNA vaccines is decades old. So the Covid vaccines weren't just conjured up in a vacuum within the rather short time frame. The quotes below with a link are from Johns Hopkins https://publichealth.jhu.edu/2021/the-long-histo...

97.1 became much more sports intensive a few years back. It's the reason McAlister was forced out. The move was absolute BS. For me the move was an answer to unsaid prayers. McAllister is on a short list of people I want to punch in the face after listening to them for 3 minutes. You are such a tou...

Re: The pandemic will be over by May 1
The annual car death rate in the USA is about 38,000. Multiply that by 10 and you have the COVID death rate. So drive on you "pack of idiots". On a per-infection basis, given the probable number of undetected or unreported infections, Omicron may well be no more fatal than the flu. MW pointed to Sw...

Re: The pandemic will be over by May 1
Do you realize how ridiculous this dialogue is? You're trying to compare the variant that was killing people at unprecedented rates last year with a variant that has proven itself to stay in the sinuses and give you flu-like symptoms. Do you know how many unvaccinated people are still dying every w...

Re: Michael Behrens wipes out on slippery Weather Deck due to wintry mix conditions
Not familiar with either but as to the weather deck I've thought on more than one occasion that a weatherman could revise his "current conditions" comments if he either looked out a window.....or....stepped outside.....on to a deck?whitebalance wrote: ↑Sun Jan 09, 2022 8:11 pmThe weather deck and weather ball are stupid gimmicks.

Another way to look it was that large employers should require employees to wear a mask and get a weekly Covid test. But they could opt out of that with a vaccine.

Re: Prediction: SCOTUS will toss vaccine mandate for large business employees, uphold it for healthcare workers
The whole "or plan B" thing is a giant red herring IMO. If either part of the "or" is unconstitutional, then the whole thing is unconstitutional. What if there was a mandate that said "you must go to church every Sunday, or you can choose to simply stay home from work" ? Would you say this is a vio...

Re: Prediction: SCOTUS will toss vaccine mandate for large business employees, uphold it for healthcare workers
In the interest of honesty "Biden's mandate for employers with 100+ employees to get vaccinated" was actually a mandate to get vaccinated or wear a mask and get tested weekly . But I guess the truth doesn't much matter to people now days. I thought they dropped the "weekly tested" part after a few ...
