Re: CW 46 Trump Town Hall

We get daily emails, phone calls, and social media comments from viewers calling us biased. And then our company only reinforces it by airing this town hall filled with softball questions hosted by a partisan hack. The response from 25-66 management? Crickets. My company is run by idiots. While I a...

Re: Can TV5 pick 'em or what?

You assume too much. You assume that TV5 staff, has morals, ethics, and intelligence. :lol :lol :lol OMG! 1st time I’ve ever agreed with you on something! IMO, Custer lacks all 3 of those attributes. I so wish he’d take the next step in his career and try to go to another bigger market. Then again,...

Re: Dave and Chuck the Freak

Ok let's review. Joe and the poor boy was number one in the ratings year after year for two decades at WKQZ Joe Volk sold 1.4 million as an account executive after his on air shift. Eric Zane never provided much added content to the show as the first poor boy. He is irreverent to the show's success...

Re: Dave and Chuck the Freak

Dave and Chuck are on WRXK in Ft Myers and WBOS in Boston also. That's kinda impressive actually. They cater to a young demo, the same demo Tom Leykis attracted in Los Angeles in the 90s and early 2000s WKQZ in Saginaw use to have the best local shock jock around. The program was called Joe and the...

Re: Matt Sheppard

Watching the Tigers “Memorable Moments show from 2000 and beyond” during a rain delay while working at home. Wife happened to be home for lunch. They showed a clip with Mario doing the play by play and she even remarked out loud, “God I miss Mario. Bring him back.” Can’t disagree one bit.

Re: Matt Sheppard

When the Tigers are playing at home, their TV announcers are at Comerica Park. If they’re on the road, they’re in the Fox Sports Detroit studio in Southfield.

Radio announcers for all games, home and road, are broadcasting from Comerica Park

Re: Matt Sheppard

After listening to Shepherd screwing up calls in his play by play the past 3-4 games, he’s not getting any better at all. I don’t care that he’s a local boy - he’s just horrible and not improving. Get Mario back and have Matt switch off with Mickey and Keating on the pre and post game show given his...

Re: 106.7 WLLZ: Detroit's Wheels (Classic Rock) is here

I think some of the greats of Detroit Radio could make a comeback. planet 96.3 would be a good one, as it was once on the 96.3-fm2 channel until it got dumped off. Progress is one of those funny things..... WLLZ could do better but will they? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Speaking of which, do...

Re: 97.1 Mornings...

What is exactly the point of having Heather on there? She literally reads stories out of a 2 day old Yahoo news feed. She's not even a particularly good broadcaster. She’s not a broadcaster - she’s a bimbo. Have seen her too many times as the Comerica Park “host” during Tigers games. Comes across a...

Would rather have that then former TV5 anchor “listen to this” Katie O’Mara. Drove me nuts with her opinion on a story always coming out.

Re: 106.7 WLLZ: Detroit's Wheels (Classic Rock) is here

Anything that is the “next generation of classic rock” needs to be 90’s and 00’s with a touch of late 80’s but NO HAIR BANDS. The beginnings of grunge and alternative mixed in with the beginnings of the active rock scene. Make it a mix of what Lansing’s Buzz 95 sounded like when they went on the air...
