Recently did a channel scan with a new TV antenna and noticed WLMB on RF channel 35. I think they used to be on RF channel 5. Wondering what took them so long to make this change. Always liked Alt 98.7, since Toledo's Zone went HD only and 89X ended. WRIF is okay, but much prefer Alt 98.7 so I'm not surprised they're almost tied in the ratings.

Listening to the Ticket last Saturday morning, they had a new local sports radio show and the audio was surprisingly good. Very true. Those XDS and Wegener satellite receivers work well with automation, but they don't program themselves.

48.3 used to be "This," but switched to Cozi fulltime a few months ago.

Most of the time, 48.1 has Cozi, except in prime time when My Network programming is featured. 48.2 is AntennaTV, 48.3 is Cozi fulltime and 48.4 is "Get TV," which is very low quality audio/video. I don't think there is anything on 48.5.

"Black & White Sports" is their only local program. It sounds terrible, even if you listen via streaming. It always sounds like the hosts are in different locations with wildly different audio levels and sound quality. Somebody might want to get them a new VU meter. As for NFL play by play, all ...

Lanigan certainly deserves credit for keeping that hour of local programming after Jeraldo left, even though Malone was an odd fit for that station. I just wish they would have promoted him like they did their other daytime hosts. Interested to see how long they keep the extra hour of morning news.

Found my answer about 1050. Good Karma owns 1050 outright and airs all ESPN Radio network programs and games, when overlapped from 880.

What is WEPN-AM 1050 in New York now, since ESPN radio is now on the new WHSQ 880? I didn't think 1050 was ever part of the Emmis portfolio.

Thanks. My dad tried an antenna but it didn't work for him. Not sure why. He ended up being able to watch 13 news via the Silk browser on his Fire TV. For ABC network shows, I guess he watches them on a different station, maybe WXYZ.
