Re: Turkey launches military offensive

This is and should be a UN issue. I think moving our troops out of harms way was a good move. As for the geopolitical portion of the whole mess, that is for brighter minds to figure out. I do seem to remember Democrats saying we needed to leave the are as it wasn't our issue, now of course it is a d...

Re: Liberal heads explode

Have to differ with you. LL101 is simply commenting on a major news story. I don't see any Trump love at all. I agree with him and am in no way a Trump supporter.

Re: Bernie's Stint

Funny. I don't think he will announce right now. He fully intends to be on stage during the next debate. I think it will be interesting to see how the others treat him then and if they pounce on it as a way of saying he is not fit, physically, for the job. I think those who are in trouble in the pol...

Re: Bernie's Stint

Up until it was officially announced he had a heart attack I felt his campaign would survive. He would use the incident for his health care plan, but now I have to agree, he is done.

Re: Sane Rational Discussion...

I think he understands compromise as in his business dealings when a private citizen he had to do so in order to make deals. What he is not used to is the people on the other side of the table not being interested in moving forward but wanting to take him down however it has to be done. He is trying...

Re: Scary Thought....

I do believe the "new president" chooses his own VP. Ford did so when taking over for Nixon. Granted Nixon resigned but i believe Pence would be able to choose the person he wants. Pelosi comes into play only if both the president and VP are not capable of filling out the term.

Re: Impeachment

My favorite quote from various morning news sources was Mrs. Clinton saying he needs to be impeached because he is corrupt...Pot meet kettle. If anyone knows corruption it would be her.

Re: Impeachment

Nixon wasn't impeached. He resigned. Only two presidents have been impeached, Jackson and Clinton I believe, and while both made it through the House both failed in the Senate. Judges however have been several times.

YOu say all this without hearing.....Must be great to know it all without actually sitting in the vehicle. There are 12 and 18 speakers systems out there too. Tell us how they sound without ever having heard them.
