Re: “I’m in the media, I can’t stay home”

"So, how has your work environment changed to keep you safe? One person plus cameraman per room? Everyone has their own mic? I’m genuinely curious." I am on the radio side, not TV, and 3/4 of the staff is using mobile equipment to broadcast from home. The PD in each of our stations will work from th...

The DHS disagrees with you which is why letters went out last week for broadcasters to keep on their person or in their vehicle explaining that they are considered essential . Mine is in my glove compartment.

Re: Complete national shutdown/quarantine starting Monday

IMHO there needs to be travel restrictions to Washington State, California, New York, new Jersey and Illinois based on their shelter in place orders. We all need to use common sense by traveling no more than is necessary and no road trips unless it is an emergency. TurkeyTop and his wife are lucky t...

Re: Coronavirus Insanity

I believe it has something to do with trying to take control of something. The whole virus thing is out of our control so panic buying puts us in control of that aspect of the situation. I did my weekly shopping yesterday and a man in line two check outs down had 31 gallons of milk...I did pick up a...

Sounds like they need to lighten up a bit. Right now that appears to be a legit question.

Ohio has also closed schools, other states are leaving it up to individual districts. Near me two or three have closed while others are considering it. In this area we have e-learning so while classrooms will be or may be closed kids will go to school via ipads and chromebooks.

Re: On a scale of 0-10, how worried are you about coronavirus?

Was running errands listening to talk radio and a weekend local host was going on and on about everyone needs to go out today and buy their two weeks of supplies, running down what you need to buy and basically talking end of times. First caller he took told him he should just move on the something ...

Re: Schumer

I am no Shumer fan but I think he just chose a poor way to say what he meant and because of his poor choice of words he got a shit storm out of them. I was impressed the Chief Justice spoke out but feel he was right to do so.

Re: Detroit newspapers endorse Biden for president

IMHO if your candidate dies then revoting should be allowed, but if they drop out, tough shit. I will early vote, always do, but it will be the last day it is open, which is the week before our primary. As for being worried about Biden winning the general, I know he is the presumed nominee but he do...

Re: Katy Perry pregnant

Turkey she is a pop singer and judge on a TV singing show. Matt the same can be said for every woman who gets pregnant so following your logic we should list every woman from every state who is pregnant. This is not news or political, it is celebrity gossip. If she had chosen abortion then it may qu...

Re: Brian Williams Only Received 18 Hours Of College Credit-Apparently No Basic Math!

I was driving when I heard the sound clip being played....funny stuff right there...Not quite sure how this has become the major item that it has. on air gaffs happen daily across the board so I guess it is an effect of the 24 hour news cycle that crap like this becomes such big news
