Re: WRIF's audio sounds like shit again

"Monsters" by Shinedown is another song that sounds squashed thanks to WRIF's engineering incompetence.

Re: Big Ten talk

If Corum AND Edwards are healthy next week, Michigan will be in good shape.
I agree, but that is a big "IF" at this juncture unfortunately.

Would be nice to have Schoonmaker back, too.

Re: Elon isn't fucking around

On my mobile device for the past week, a password splash page keeps appearing. I have no idea what my Twitter password is (or if I ever created one). I don't tweet. I only read others' pages. The problem with the splash page is there's no "forgotten password" or "reset password" links!

Re: Surprise format change in Alpena

I thought of ATZ Gold as an option. I won't rule that out completely.

I didn't realize The Wave played a considerable amount of 80s and 90s. Now that I'm aware of that, I think a WCCW-FM like format (mostly 70s) is also a serious possibility.

There are plenty of competent sports broadcasters with voices that sound decent on radio out there.

Re: Big Ten talk

I couldn't tell from the video replays of that late pass completion if the ball moved because the receiver failed to maintain control or if it simply moved because he moved his hand. The video was blurry. Totally agree that the FG likely would've been good either way. The kick cleared the cross bar ...

Re: Big Ten talk

What's really rich is Bret Bielema bitching about the officiating in Ann Arbor when his team was the beneficiary of a neutral zone infraction no-call today on a 4th down play for the Wolverines. He also was granted a questionable timeout with :01 remaining on the game clock. I wonder if he's changed...

Re: Big Ten talk

Blake Corum suffered an apparent injury early in today's game. Not good!!! Michigan's lack of a pass game is being exposed. Edwards wasn't available today due to injury. U-M has zero chance against OSU if neither of those guys are available next Saturday. Really crappy play calling on that final set...

Re: Dave LewAllen - what an idiot.

I would love to see a few "Jaywalking" interviews outside some polling places to learn more.
Not sure I'd use a segment that is heavily edited for TV purposes as a benchmark here. I'd also like to think the people here are much wiser than the folks in L.A. County.

Re: When will Dwane Casey be shown the door???

I may need to eat my words regarding Cunningham. Either the Pistons medical staff is somewhat clueless or the team initially misled all of us. Cunningham reportedly saw a specialist in L.A., he has a hairline fracture, and he may require surgery, which would cause him to miss many weeks of action.

I think nearly everyone realizes a millage is a tax that generates revenue for the taxing body.

There are a number of things for which Mr. LewAllen can be rightfully criticized, but this isn't one of them.

Cannot blame you for wanting to switch your primary personal residence to Florida for taxation purposes. If I split time between both places, I'd consider filing in Florida, too. The downside of doing that, of course, is the principal residence exemption for property tax purposes in Michigan would b...

The sound quality using the app on my Samsung TV, with audio output to my Yamaha HTR, is only okay. I hear noticeable artifact tinniness. The SXM app produces much better audio to my ears. The menu architecture is not particularly user friendly, and the pre-built stations are categorized sloppily. I...

Re: Time for Gun Control in Michigan

Instead of tearing up both I-75 and I-275 at the same time, only concentrate on ONE of them and give half that project to one company and half to the other. Finish in half the time then move over to the other big project. Maybe start at both ends so the company that's more efficient ends up getting...
