"you people"? I generally avoid the abortion debates in here. I'm simply pointing out that for whatever reason, abortion is viewed as a sacred right by the left, even above and beyond that of freedom of religion or freedom of assembly. Large gatherings of people can be bad for public health. An abo...

Re: Where's the evidence that "Stay at Home" slows the spread?

Let's try an experiment. BMW and Audio should head to 6 mile and socialize. Let's see how things work out. You'd be helping science and helping get people back to work. Yet another person who missed the point entirely. I don't need the the government to force me at gunpoint to make me avoid virus-i...

Re: Where's the evidence that "Stay at Home" slows the spread?

If my avoidance of an activity results in something not happening, what kind of evidence can I present. You can't prove a negative. You can compare states and compare countries with similar demographics but different public policies and at least loosely reach conclusions about whether said policies...

So when the death toll doesn't hit 200k or even 100k, how many of you who hounded me for being wrong about my prediction of 2k are going to admit that you were wrong as well?

A U.S. judge on Monday blocked Texas officials from banning most abortions in the state as part of their order to postpone surgeries and other procedures deemed not medically necessary during the coronavirus crisis. An abortion is time sensitive and can not be postponed Why not? People like Screen ...

Re: Florida Kristian Asshole in Jail

Looks like one's Constitutional right to have an abortion is greater than one's rights under the First Amendment. Yeakel ruled that Paxton's action "prevents Texas women from exercising what the Supreme Court has declared is their fundamental constitutional right to terminate a pregnancy before a fe...

Re: What you won’t see

Something the lame stream media won’t tell you: 7.7 billion people in the world. 30,000 have died with coronavirus, most with other health issues. That’s 0.0000038961%. You’re going to be okay. Again - and this is the second time I've had to correct you on calculating percentages - you're off by a ...

Re: Where's the evidence that "Stay at Home" slows the spread?

Every person that minimized their contact with someone for 2 weeks minimized the spread... that would just be simple logic. So if I contact 4 people at the grocery store once vs. 500 between work and everything else I normally do in 2 weeks it’s going to slow the spread. Except I didn't ask about m...

Where's the evidence that "Stay at Home" slows the spread?

Does anyone out there have any hard evidence proving that "stay at home" orders issued by state governors actually slows the spread of the virus? There are still some states in the US without such orders in place (some counties or cities in those states have the orders, but not the entire state), an...

Re: Trump administration blocking PPE and other supplies to Michigan

Whitmer isn't playing games with first responder's lives, that would be Trump. If Whitmer really wanted to stop the spread of the virus in our state, she would draw a horizontal line across the lower peninsula somewhere around Bay City and forbid all but essential travel crossing that line. 99% of ...

Sweden isn't shutting down much of anything:

...and yet, their per-capita infection rates seem to be the same as everywhere else.

Re: On a scale of 0-10, how worried are you about coronavirus?

I am saddened by the fact that BMW hasn't mentioned his concern for heart attacks or suicide until they were ways to demonstrate how shelter in place made our democrat governor look bad. That's utter nonsense. I said right from day 1 that shutting down the country would have severe negative health ...
