Re: Detroit Tigers 2023

Tigers' season very nearly ended last night. Up 5-2 late, gave up 2 runs, put runners on in the 9th and pitched like absolute garbage, but somehow managed to get the last out and hold on to a 5-4 victory. Had they blown that one after what happened in their last game, I think mentally that would hav...

Re: Creepy Joe strikes again

I think you misunderstood my response. My point was when it comes to the presidency, the only way you really "hold someone accountable" is by throwing them out of office. Because having to answer questions related to your actions is only half of accountability. The other half is there actually being...

Re: Cocaine found in the West Wing

Just read this meme today, but it definitely has some truth to it:

"They tracked down everyone that entered the capitol on January 6th, but can't track down one cokehead?"

Re: Creepy Joe strikes again

I'm 100% in agreement with your "kid glove" assertion, but I disagree with your suggestion that it is the role of the media to hold Presidents accountable. That is the role of the voters. The role of the media is that of watchdog, and as such, to get that information to the voters. Is there anything...

Re: Creepy Joe strikes again

The establishment media in this country is an embarrassment to the concept of a free press. Unfortunately there's no point in complaining about it because it will never be the neutral government watchdog that our founders had envisioned when they wrote the First Amendment. As an aside, Biden is stil...

Re: Traverse City Hair Salon Rejects "Woke" Pronouns and Shit

Don't people have better things to do with their time? Gathered at the city's civic center and outside Studio 8 Hair Lab, demonstrators —joined by Traverse City Mayor Pro-Tem Amy Shamroe— protested Geiger's stance Wednesday, marching, chanting and carrying pro LGBTQ+ signs that said, "Love is love,"...

Re: Cocaine found in the West Wing

The Secret Service announced today that it has closed the investigation, without finding the source of the drugs. Does anybody believe for one second they either don't or can't figure this out? I sure don't. And if they can't, that's scary. Because what if it was something more serious, like Anthrax?

House Bill 4474 seeks to expand what constitutes as a hate crime in Michigan as it relates to real or perceived identifying characteristics including race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, and more. The bill also outlines the punishments for such crimes. Nowhere in ...

Making matters worse, Cleveland and Minnesota both lost today, so that was an opportunity to gain a full game in the division going into the break.

Re: Detroit Tigers 2023

Actually a combined-pitcher no-hitter is quite rare. Of the 340 no-hitters in league history, this was only the 20th one that involved more than one pitcher pitching. That makes it slightly rarer than a perfect game (24).

Re: Cocaine found in the West Wing

The covertly racist left always gives the game away by accusing others of being racist. Here's a clue - the press secretary is the face and voice of the administration. I'm sure it is always an exhausting job, made worse when you have to cover for the president's declining cognitive ability. You mi...
