Re: The History of FM Radio

And I thought everyone started, like me, with a crystal radio...... Then a Knight kit radio to "Tune the World". Listening to Radio Moscow claim everything was better in Russia.

Re: Postmaster general hits the crack pipe

Glad to see the addition of air conditioning. With more and more drugs being shipped by mail this could mean the difference of the drug working as prescribed. My sister lives in AZ and she has heard of mail delivery people passing out do to the heat.

Re: MSNBC meltdown

I remember one of the early days of MSNBC when there had been a earthquake in CA and Tom Snyder did his show from the parking lot. Another time when there was a fire in the NJ HQ and Snyder did a 6 or 7 hour gig from LA filling the time with anyone who wandered in the studio. At one point a piano pl...

I know 3 who have had the 'both shots' and they said it's the 2nd that can effect you the most.
My 1st was just a sore at the shot location for a couple days. I'll know more about the 2nd in 10 days...

Re: 2 California supermarkets closing after city orders pay hike

It's good PR to call the workers during a pandemic 'hero's'. Then when it's time to reward them for possibly sacrificing their health or possibly lives, it's a different story. I don't think Kroger will be pushed to bankruptcy by paying a little more in several stores. Operating Profit of $820 milli...

Re: KGB was recruiting comrade Trump years ago

Go look at a photo of Trump and Putin when they came out of the Helsinki meeting. Putin is grinning and Trump looks like a kid who's dog just got run over by a dump truck. There were no notes of the conversation they had. Do you think that Vlad told Don if he does anything the 'jig' will be up. It s...

Re: Good Recommendation for Car Air Compressor?

I have a Black n Decker model that plugs into the lighter. You set the pressure you want, turn it on and it stops when desire psi is reached. Only thing I wished I had done was to get the plug in/battery model that uses the same lithium batt. as all my yard tools.

Re: Fascists' storm The US capital.

The Hill reports that 13 arrests were made today.
For reference, there were 14,000+ arrests at the George Floyd protests.

Can it be white privilege that means nobody cracks any heads and just waves them in?
