Re: National Anthem

At Univ. of Michigan hockey games the only anthem performed by the band is the US. The student section at 10 min. to face-off sing the Canadian anthem. This started several years ago and as time goes on more fans remove hats or stand and many sing along. The arena goes quiet till they are finished a...

Re: The Governor’s Clothing

Can someone tell us how much and where the suits are from on the male side?
If you focus on how a leader dresses over what they say or do.... then maybe you need to rethink how you evaluate people.

Re: Child Killer on WDIV

The John Norman Collins case was over 50 years ago. There was a good video that would show up on Ann Arbor CTN channel (local access) of a Kiwanis meeting with the then sheriff Harvey talking about it. He claimed that a DNA test was run years later when it became available and it tied Collins to the...

Re: President Trump Will Declare National Emergency

Now you see why there were the absolute least amount of judges confirmed under Obama and flood gates opened with conservative judges opened after the 16 election. All things wind up going through the court system and now to a certain extent the courts are stacked at a lot of levels to help one side ...

22 was the Global Network outlet in Windsor. What also set Global apart was the way they would cover big international stories. After giving their report, the news reader would give a lead in, "Here is how the U.S. views the same story."

Re: It's Not Easy Being Green

If all the items to produce power were used the need for fossil fuels would be much less. I just saw a video of of something that looked like a paddle wheel that lays on the bottom of a stream or river and it generates power continually. Day, night, Summer, Winter don't matter. No need for storage. ...

Rita Bell also did Starlet Stairway featuring all kinds of kid acts like baton twirling and tap dancing. Yes, Some of the late late movies on 62 were racy for the time and not scrambled like the 'pay' channel 20. Does anyone remember the early 70's Sunday night, French Canadian porn on channel 22? U...

Re: Turn DOWN your thermostat! Really?!

Doesn't any one remember back in the mid-70's when a cold snap caused similar problems? Only that time it was electricity. It was so cold the coal was frozen and there were problems feeding the boilers. Companies lowered the usage and everyone was asked to dial down and turn off lights not needed. I...

Re: Tinnitus Coping Tips

I turn up the volume..... Over 20 years of listening to the bad 'fly-back transformer' whine in my ears. I find it's not as loud in the AM if I leave electrical items off as long as possible and use ear plugs at all concert and sporting events. I heard of some work on hearing aids that inject a coun...

Once traveling through Missouri in the 60's I stopped at a ice cream stand and ordered a Boston Cooler. The older lady looked at me like I was from Mars. She asked whats in it. I told her ginger ale and vanilla ice cream and mix it like a milk shake. She looked and me in a very serious expression an...

I'm hoping for the best for the State. I also know that all that needs to be done has to go through the same party that tried to neuter the authority of the elected officials put in place to do the job.

Re: If you're tall, don't ask out short women...

The article was pulled for being poorly written and not totally factual. National Review issued a retraction for the article after criticism of it gained steam. “This article and its headline originally stated that a male student at the University of Missouri was found in violation of Title IX becau...
