Re: Nav Nanwa exits as host of Windsor Morning on CBC Radio One, Windsor

Never heard of Nav Nanwa. Of course, I never listen to CBC Radio One. Doesn’t sound like I’m missing much. Considering your opinion on public broadcasting on this side of the border, your thoughts on Nav and CBC Radio One are hilarious. Considering my tax dollars don't go to CBC radio, I occasional...

Re: Two Transistor Radio

I remember back in the 60’s we had the two transistor pocket radio, if I can remember these of course were cheaper than the six or eight transistor radio. Does anyone know why these were manufactured? I had someone tell me it had to do to a tax or tariff issue that Japan had to pay for radios that ...

Re: Two Transistor Radio

I suspect that the two transistor radios were TRF, not superheterodyne. So they didn't need an oscillator, mixer, IF stages with amplification and transformers, just a tuned circuit and a diode. Just maybe an RF amplifier transistor to bring up the signal level of the ferrite lipstick (some had tel...

I kinda like the massage parlor raid videos. Being an election year many community police departments are busting these human trafficking locations. Must see TV.
Never seen this. Do you have a link?
Just go on YouTube and do a search for massage parlor raids.

Re: WPON's AA and Revolving Door Show

One platform you may want to check out is www.live365.com, I know that Live365 covers music royalty cost that is included on your monthly fee. It’s an excellent platform for internet radio enthusiasts and not bad on monthly costs. I do know a few of my friends that are on Live365 and are very please...

After hearing Levin scold brain dead Biden the other day, Levin would be a great President. He would have my vote.

Re: WPON's AA and Revolving Door Show

Heard some high school (or were they junior high?) kids in that slot today talking about body piercings. A serious discussion, no comedy. The future of radio. I had listened to the 3 new podcasts for AA and Revolving Door, not much different than what you just described on the new hosts on 1460. Th...

Re: Tucker Carlson as Trump's VP?

Rumors are now surfacing that Biden will be thrown out of the race at the Democratic Convention in August and possibly Michelle Obama could be the Democratic Nominee. Something to watch out for come August.
