Re: Tucker Carlson as Trump's VP?
Rumors are now surfacing that Biden will be thrown out of the race at the Democratic Convention in August and possibly Michelle Obama could be the Democratic Nominee. Something to watch out for come August.

WOMC doesn’t seem to play any 60’s titles. They haven’t for a while now.Bail Bonds wrote: ↑Thu May 09, 2024 9:52 pmI don’t see the late 60’s tunes going anywhere either.stopnswop2 wrote: ↑Thu May 09, 2024 9:39 pmA lot of Classic Hits stations still playing handful of late 60s songs. Tucker would be a good choice. Also there has been rumors about (believed it or not) Tulsi Gabbard also being on the list.

I’m curious as to how much longer before the 70’s will be eliminated from WOMC’s playlist. Yeah, kinda sucks that Detroit, Motown....does not have an oldies (FM) station anymore. Can we get CKWW a translator set up on this side of the river somewhere? You know, like K-Love and every other religious...

Re: CBE FM 89.9 Signal Issues
I can confirm that Tropospheric Enhancement and Eskip have both been pretty active over the last week. I, for instance had WRRO Edon, OH (1.4KW) in over CBE a couple days this week from Monroe County. The band has changed dramatically over the last couple of weeks. Over the winter, I can point my a...

Re: BEASLEY MEDIA INITIATES 7% STAFF LAYOFFS
Unlikely, except for perhaps one or more of the translators. Beasley, if it needs to raise cash prior to entering chapter 11, is more likely to look to divest stations in New Jersey, its crappy standalone AM in Atlanta, or stations in the puny Augusta, GA and Fayetteville, NC markets. Do you think ...

Re: Towpath to broadcast on 98.7
Good question! Right now, the plan is to take what we're doing online with oldies and move it to the air with some minor (more local) tweaks to programming. There will be quite a bit of focus on the smaller communities southwest of Toledo. The signal is small, it might not get much further north th...

Wixie: The station of The Lone Ranger, Challenge of the Yukon, The Green Hornet, Mickey Schorr, Fred Wolf, Lou Gordon, Mike Wallace, Douglas Edwards, Paul Winter..... And it's come to this? Just shut down the whole AM band. It's dead. Many have said AM Radio is dead for over 40 years now. Meanwhile...

What do you think the price tag on 105.9 be without translators?MWmetalhead wrote: ↑Thu May 09, 2024 8:51 amThey overpaid for 105.9 and that group of translators.
Cumulus evidently didn't want to sell 93.1 to a commercial broadcaster. 93.1 sold for about $3 million less than 105.9.

I kinda like the massage parlor raid videos. Being an election year many community police departments are busting these human trafficking locations. Must see TV.

Re: BEASLEY MEDIA INITIATES 7% STAFF LAYOFFS
If it gets to the point that Beasley has to sell any underperforming stations, I’m sure WDMK 105.9 would end up on the selling block. EMF would most likely be in the market to buy for their Air 1 station to be on a full power in Detroit.
