Re: Michigan Election Fraud
Here's another one that gave me a grin: .... charges against him were dropped after he expressed regret at what had taken place, telling state investigators that he “felt that I had been walked into a situation that I shouldn’t have ever been involved in.” .... Yes your honor my client was walked in...

... That led Kristen D. Simmons, the judge presiding over pretrial hearings in Michigan, to issue a warning this week, saying she did not want “to be taking time away from my judicial duties to address comments made on Facebook posts.” ... I don't recall consulting Facebook before rendering a judgem...

Re: Meijer exits U.S. Senate race
I’ll do all I can to get my family members in MI to vote for Amash. Easily my favorite current politician. That said, what a lousy website: https://www.justinamash.com/ I concur. Find it odd to not see a smiling mug shot on the home page. Seems that's the first thing any candidate does when buildin...

Having read all the posts, what you say is what was running thru my mind. Why did she or her handlers feel the need to include this in her autobiography?

The GOP can run anyone they want. Elissa Blair Slotkin will be the next U.S. senator elected from our great state.

Do you really think there is any media outlet, from NBC Nightly News to the Western Nebraska Observer, that doesn't slant what they are telling you?
Everyone likes the ones that tell them what they want to hear.

Re: RIP Non Compete Clause
"But who will think of the corporations?!" There are remedies to protect trade secrets or proprietary information, like NDA's. Employees should not be forced to make a choice between: a) working for an employer they don't want to work for anymore, b) moving to a location the previous employer doesn...

Re: RIP Non Compete Clause
Is there any talent left work stealing? Is there any broadcast company willing to pay higher wages to steal talent? I believe it will be overturned in court. And nothing to do with the broadcasting world. I'm thinking Corporate America will make a convincing case that valuable talent, some of which...

TV and film jobs may never recover
Jobseekers interested in breaking into the film and television industry may have a harder time this year and even in the coming years. Hiring has not fully rebounded. In the first quarter of 2024, television production was down 16.2% percent year-over-year in the Los Angeles area. https://www.cnbc.c...

Re: Poor Melania
Yes it's very true Melania would be greatly upset if her son gets dragged into all this. But I feel it's wrong to think she really cared if Donald was fooling around in her. I'm thinking as soon as the rabbit died, the hook was set and she crossed her legs. Don't gotta lay up under that no more. I'l...

Re: Trump Jury Selection
Honestly, who in their right mind would want to sit on that jury? We haven't had a criminal case this high profile since the OJ Simpson case. Everyone on that jury will have celebrity status whether they want it or not ... Yes the jury will have names everyone knows. The smart ones will parlay thei...

Re: Saying "Illegal Alien" in the classroom may get you suspended
The best way to nip this sort of thing in the bud is to call out the offended family in public. A press release naming the kids parents, in the form of a "sincere apology" will make others so easily offended think twice about throwing a temper tantrum.
