I remember listening to 1090 WIID (in the early 70s), and they were playing instrumental music. Similar to what was being played on WQTE 560, but maybe with a little less Perez Prado. (i have no problem with P.P.)

I really enjoyed WDET when they were music-centric during the day. Martin Bandyke, Ann Delisi, Judy Adams, Dave Dixon, etc,
I haven't listened during the week for years.

I believe he was involved with WKSG "Kiss" 102.7 fm, in fact he may have hosted the morning show for a time. He was also responsible for the rebirth of WKNR (actually WWKR) in the late 70s (?).

How about "Make It And Take It" with Bob Neugebauer. (Channel 20?)
