Anything else on this? Is the studio being renovated?

Meteorologist Bryan Schuerman posted a photo on his Facebook a few days ago and it was the local 4 News desk in front of a green screen. Looks like a temporary studio? Is wdiv redoing their permanent studio? Surprising if they are as it isn’t that old?

I happened to be on iheart’s website and noticed 96.3 WDVD came up as one of there stations? Did they just squire this? Wasn’t WDVD cumulus?

Has anybody noticed the lack in quality of weekend newscasts in metro Detroit? Has it always been this bad? They are almost unwatchable. It is completely regurgitated news from the week with 0-1 possible live reports and talent that hasn’t been in the market for 5 minutes. I understand they have to ...

The 6 o clock was a normal full newscast. It was just the 7pm that was like that.

I have noticed lately when one of the anchors is out for the day at WXYZ nobody fills in from the other newscasts? For example the 5pm today is Brian Abel alone cause Glenda Lewis is out. Watched detroit news now tonight. Actually not that awful with Shaina Humphries anchoring. I think cbs news Detroit is being sorely underestimated and 2,4,7 better hold on tight. Is it just me or does WXYZ studio just look so old and unappealing lately. I guess fox 2’s weirdly shaped desk isn’t much better but at least updated. It seems like 4 is the only station with a somewhat decent studio. We will see what cbs 62 does with there’s.
