Saw a promo on Ellen Barca’s FB page stating they are building a new tracking center. If I recall correctly the current weather center was built in 2008 or 2009 a year or two before Craig James retired.

Earlier this year she left the morning show with plans to stay part time as a feature reporter. She has now announced she is leaving FOX 17 completely.

From what I’ve seen of scripps… they are likely trying to rebuild Fox 17s news department from the ground up. Sometimes this strategy works for them and sometimes it’s a disaster. We will see.
