Being 100% (proud to be a) nerd, along with nerd offspring, scorigami is a fun thing to track in our household! It's remarkable how many still happen every season.

Re: Removing Trump with the 14th Amendment Section 3

It seems to be the way Trump is running his presidency. And no one can argue with that. Agreed. So let's be better starting now. Follow the law, follow the Constitution, and do it fairly. It's time for the adults to take over - not those willing to dispense with the proper protocols and due process...

Re: Removing Trump with the 14th Amendment Section 3

Read how the trial can be held. They could conduct a trial in 4 hours. They who? Congress? Is there anyone anywhere (other than you) that would think a 4-hour trial would be considered anything other than partisan kangaroo court? C'mon man... seriously? Whatever would happen in Congress would ultim...

Re: Michigan Capitol bans open carry weapons

Good start.

I'm with Whitmer on this - they need to go further to protect the Capitol and more importantly the people that work inside.

Re: Removing Trump with the 14th Amendment Section 3

Except for that whole needing a trial thing so that he could be found guilty in a courtroom so that the 14th would be able to be applied. Being guilty in the court of public opinion doesn't qualify. No matter what we think of him, he is entitled to equal protection and all those other protections he...

Re: Removing Trump with the 14th Amendment Section 3

Which action? What happened last Wednesday? Or the drivel above about using the 14th Amendment to remove The Failure from office in the next 8 days?

My opinion remains the proper course of action is an impeachment by the House and trial in the Senate.

Re: Removing Trump with the 14th Amendment Section 3

LOL! You act like he's got more than 8 days left in his term. The probability of the earth reversing its rotation is about the same as the chances of a trial and conviction in the next 8 days so that the 14th could apply. Or are you thinking he's still going to be president after January 20? That ro...

Re: Capitol Police Officer Suicide

If not even experts that study this stuff for a living can come to a consensus on this, not sure how anyone can claim victory or being all-knowing with certainty on this argument short of a trial and appeal to the SCOTUS. https://firstamendmentwatch.org/does-the-first-amendment-protect-trump-on-inci...

I actually am glad this happened. I hope he goes to a federated network. It will help with the popularity of federated networks.
You have no idea what a federated network actually is.

Did they ever score the 5lbs of coffee because Ollie Fretter couldn't beat their best deal?

Re: Where is the concern/outrage regarding Pelosi's attempted coup?

I always thought that only Congress had the power to declare war? Any Commander in Chief might be the one / should be the one considered to be acting illegally should the launch of any nuclear weapons occur without a declaration of war. Seems to me that as a Congressional leader, Pelosi is well with...

Well I think it's time to try another type of Foolish for a while. I thought you were a follow the science guy? Or is that only applicable depending on which political party is dumping the science to look good politically? The science is very clear - two shots. Giving out the second doses to others...

$500 to have lawyer write it? Surely you are joking. A lawyer wouldn't even read it for $500, let alone write anything.

Re: My final thoughts on the Trump Presidency

Trump was never a success. Always a con man liar and destroyer of The USA. Because - he did the dictator wanna-be thing - instantly - calling established free press “Fake News”, disobeying US Constitution, not revealing tax returns and not setting aside his businesses, making bucks for his business...
