Re: Health director fired? (Robert Gordon MiDHHS out)

Right on!

Vaccine distribution has been just begging for some investigative reporting, but the media has cut back so much, there's nobody left to do the hard work!!

Re: Health director fired?

Proving once again that it's not what you know, it's who you know. Pretty eye-opening that our state health department is run by people with as much actual real-world health training as LL and Bidet. Hey Michigan news-media types ... wouldn't this be an interesting expose for your station / publicat...

Re: Classic Country

You're also in the demographic that is the least likely to be influenced by advertising. They feel they get more bang for their buck targeting younger consumers that haven't yet developed the same kind of strong brand / product loyalty that those of a certain age have developed. I offer you exhibit ...

Re: Classic Country

There's no money to be made. If you listen to Randy Travis, advertisers don't care about you and don't want to spend their money on you. No money, no radio format. And get off my lawn. Advertisers don't care about a 29 yo male? Right... So they're targeting the 16 year old country fans? You're cons...

Re: It's a new day in America

Help me out with my stereotypes here:

Working class members cannot be, by definition, middle class, but middle class members can be working class?

Need to know so I can be surgical in offending only who I want.

Not sure how this can be shocking information to anyone.

The playbook was established in March - the states are in charge. Thus the different lockdowns (or not), the different masking policies, and on and on and on. Why would anyone be expecting something different?

Re: Stupid move by Joe Biden...

It boils down to a few things: How you feel about the risk to the Ogallala Aquifer (hvge source of fresh water) - the company's argument is basically "there are countless other risks, we wouldn't change the risk dynamic THAT much, wink" How you feel about the domestic oil that would be in that pipel...

Re: Whitmer travels out of state but....

To be put it more simply, there aren't enough trumptards to beat the Democrats in Michigan. You do realize just much you contradict yourself and your self-proclaimed wokenness by using such slurs, right? The use of -tards to describe anyone, whether you disagree with them or not, is always offense ...

Re: It's a new day in America

Too bad they didn't feel that way four years ago. Touché. Winning the presidency while losing the popular vote seems to be a recipe for what we all witnessed the last 4 years. Not enough came together to move everyone forward. Given the chance to build bridges, Trump instead opted to napalm them an...

Re: Bye Bye Parler!

LOL at labeling someone as racist, woke, or anything else based on the inane ramblings of what is posted on a mostly anonymous message board. As The Breakfast Club so accurately put it: "We are who you want us to be". Pretending that any of these posts accurately reflect what any of us are like in r...
