My last two vehicles had or have it in addition to normal cruise so you have both to choose from.

So the adaptive cruise function is able to be turned off so it won’t work in a menu somewhere I take it?

I love adaptive cruise. Set it and forget it and it keeps with flow of traffic without you having to do jack shit except steer.

Same here… I had it on a Buick Lacrosse… adjusted to traffic flow and it wasn’t even noticeable. If you get into the open lane it adjusts back to speed. Incredible.
